NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte will visit Washington next week for a "long-planned" visit, a spokesperson for the military alliance said on Wednesday.
"I can confirm that the Secretary General will be in DC next week for a long-planned visit," NATO spokesperson Allison Hart said. No further details of the trip were immediately available.
The visit was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

He actually told his E.U. counterparts that NATO is nothing without the USA and has said it multiple times! I look forward to his visit and hope centering on muslim removal gets discussed...got to be some desolate sand somewhere to dump these Godforsaken beings.

3If we cannot fly over your country or land at your airbases how can we make sure we have the equipment on hand to open the straight?
France should look at the cemeteries on their land with the dead Americans from two world wars and ask who has been there in the past for them. They should ask who sent their men to die to free their country.
The UK should ask who supplied them with the food fuel and ammo to defend their country when Germany was attacking them. Who paid in blood and treasure to keep them free.
Europe should ask who protected them during the cold war from the USSR.
The USA has been doing the dirty work for Europe for two centuries starting with the defeat of the Barbery coast pirates.
The USA has a long history protecting Europe. We don’t need to any longer. Especially when we know that they are afraid of a little decent from an invading rabble from the middle east who want them dead anyway. We know now that Europe will not give us the most basic need of flying over their country or using an airbase.
Obviously, we've made many mistakes in doing that. So it's time for Europe to stand on their own two feet.

He’s from the Netherlands, but supports Trump regarding NATO.
Hard to say, he could be Dutch, or from one of the countries like Holland, or he could be from someplace else, like the Netherlands.
We have 11 permanent cemeteries in France for our American war dead. Covering over 600 acres of land. Do not be fully shocked to hear one day that France is considering a repurposing of that land, or at least some of it. They will soon be running out of room where to place the incoming Muslims.
Unfortunately, he has no control over his NATO Member countries. He’s the only NATO European rationale guy but he can’t do anything about his crazy Member countries.
Boot his ass out! Bring our troops home. WW 2 ended 81 years ago.
