There is also a draft bill circulating that would remove the CCW legality for off-duty federal officers.
I think the left did something similar to people associated with Trump and anyone who challenged the election in 2020.

California Democrats want to do a lot of goofy crap that doesn’t hold up in court. Comes into play when you’re a one-party Democratic supermajority state with the State Assembly Democrats basically trying to out-crazy one another.

Seems like half of the laws the CA rats pass violate the commerce cause and many of those stay in place with nationwide consequence. For example Honda just ceased production of all gas powered lawn mowers because Ca banned them.

A good example of why Trump should have invoked the Insurrection Act and interned all of CA's Dem politicians and party officials (including Federal reps and Senators) and called for new elections after lustrating the Dems from voting or holding public office.

Let’s state it differently: California wants to hire inept, inexperience doofuses to be law enforcement officers and sheriffs in their state.
This came up a few weeks ago. A California Republican rep said the law would be mostly symbolic before being overturned. The rep said most federal LEOs get their start at the state and local level, then retire from the fed job.
This reminds me of the Left’s rules saying worldview apartheid is law.
