Another butt-busting week ahead? It’s a busy time of year, and will be for a while. Take yer vitamins! :-)
Howdy radu!
Hehehe, butt-bustin’ indeed. Biggest event of the year is in two weeks, so I’m a head spinnin’ zombie. Lots of fun, but dang glad this one is only once a year.
Hope you’re doing well!

Hi, lauren! You’re welcome. Good to see you tonight. Did you enjoy the couple of cooler days last week. I sure did.
Yep, the 50’s were a big change from the 90’s and it was pleasant!
Great to see you too as always!
Oof! At least you’re getting the biggest event out of the way early in the year. Still plenty more to keep you hopping though.
All’s well here. Just beating down the jungle. The early Spring has everything growing like crazy.
Howdy, PRO.
Have a good weekend? Does Robin have you busy working on Spring projects around the yard?
Howdy, luvie.
Did you sleep late to make up for staying awake so late last night? :-)
I visit Robin on occasion but I no longer move well enough anymore to be much help on Spring projects, but I am a good supervisor!
Hope all is well with you!
Hello everybody 😊 Hope you’re all well. Spring has sprung for you I see 🥰
Hey there, radu!
I sure did! It felt really good too. That is until the temp reached 88 today. I’m already over the heat. LOL! Unfortunately that won’t really be till seven months have passed, LOL!
Did you get some more mowing done today?
This gettin’ old thing kinda sux, doesn’t it? LOL Little by little we can do less and less.
As long as we can get out of bed each day, life is still good.
All’s good here. Enjoying nice weather and watching everything green up around the area. The dismal brown of winter is finally gone.
The downside is a lot of mower time. LOL
Dang, it does look like a long summer ahead for y’all.
Could be for us too. Supposed to be in the 80s the rest of the week, though we might not be that warm in this area of the state. From what they say it’ll be cloudy a lot down here and that’ll keep the temp down, like it did today. The sun finally broke out around 5:00.
Yes, more mowing got done. Along the driveway tomorrow, then I really need to give my sinuses a break.
I’m sure the summer will be long for y’all too, especially since you are in the southern part of the state. Our difference is, you’ll have higher humidity most of the time, which makes things more uncomfortable and sweaty.
Bravo for getting more of the mowing done. Hope it’ll only be a couple more times so you can breathe for a while. Plus enjoy a gorgeous short green lawn.
It’s a possibility that it’ll be a hot one. Farmer’s Almanac is usually pretty good and they predict a hotter and wetter than normal summer in the south. The wetter part is troublesome because it messes up mowing and this place can get away from me so easily. The grass is so thick, it takes time to dry out so I can mow it.
And the more rain we get, the more it’s a sauna. Ugh!
Can’t say the lawn is gorgeous. I don’t rake leaves so there are leaf bits scattered everywhere. LOL I just want it short to discourage mice and rats from coming close to the house.
