CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — A school bus carrying students and staff from the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System was involved in a deadly crash in Carroll County while traveling to a field trip, authorities said.
Officials said the bus, from Kenwood Middle School, was headed to Jackson when it was involved in a crash with another vehicle near the intersection of Highway 70 and Cedar Grove.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
Families of everyone on board have been contacted, according to school officials, who said they do not yet have additional confirmed details about the crash.

3 people are deceased so far.
Kids are being taken to Vanderbilt and other surrounding hospitals.
Illegal alien semi driver?
That question immediately popped into my head when I saw the headline
Semis do not hit school busses. If this is an English speaking/reading well trained truck driver as used to be the standard, I’ll be surprised
Whoever he was driving for is done. Out of business.
Press conference just said 2 children are dead.
A different Carroll County, the one in Kentucky, was the scene of a worse crash about 40 years ago when a drunk driver going the wrong way on the freeway hit a school bus full of passengers, mostly high school kids.
Not Jackson? Airlifted to Vandy I guess.
Good hospital.

In 1988 in Carroll County KY. there was a tragic school bus accident too. Over 27 killed by a drunken driver that lived.

Well hopefully the TN DOT e-verify. That said prayers out to the children and their families.
Hard to find any updates but apparently a dashcam caught the bus crossing over the yellow lines so that could be the cause of the crash.
