Israeli Army, police probing alleged settler arson and vandalism in West Bank Christian village

Police and the IDF were investigating an alleged arson attack and vandalism by settlers on Wednesday in the West Bank Christian Palestinian village of Taybeh, the Kan public broadcaster reported.

Photos published by Palestinian media showed a charred car, as well as Hebrew graffiti on a wall reading “Revenge” and “Am Yisrael Chai” (The nation of Israel lives).

Kan published additional security camera footage, timestamped to about 5 a.m., showing three masked individuals at the site of the attack.

“We are worried that the rioters will break into the village at night and cause calamity,” he said. “There is concern and fear in the village; we aren’t prepared to lose even one soul, not prepared for a drop of blood to be spilled.”

There were no reports of arrests.

Father Jack, a church priest from the village, told Kan in a Thursday interview that the community lives in fear of bloodshed.

“We are worried that the rioters will break into the village at night and cause calamity,” he said. “There is concern and fear in the village; we aren’t prepared to lose even one soul, not prepared for a drop of blood to be spilled.” Advertisement

“We want peace and to live in peace with our neighbors. Jews, Arabs, Christians, Muslims, it makes no difference to us. We want to live, to work, and to be with people.”

Settler attacks have been taking place across the West Bank on a near-daily basis, with almost complete impunity. Since the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror onslaught in southern Israel, there has been a major surge in attacks by settler extremists on Palestinians and their property across the West Bank. The IDF recorded over 750 incidents of Jewish nationalistic crime and settler violence in 2025, while the total for 2024 was 675 incidents.

Abraham l
19 July, 2025

Long identified as part of the country’s minority Arab population, Israel’s Christian community has recently begun asserting its own unique identity—one that is deeply tied to the Jewish State of Israel. Meet the Arameans.

When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strode into a banquet hall in the northern Galilee town of Upper Nazareth on a mid-December evening in 2014, approximately 1,000 people rose to their feet and gave Netanyahu a standing ovation. Was this typical election-year enthusiasm?

It was enthusiastic for sure. But it was hardly typical. The crowd consisted of Arabic-speaking Christians who insist that they are not Arabs. Instead, they consider themselves “Arameans,” and the event, hosted by the Forum for Christian Enlistment in the Israel Defense Forces, was a Christmastime coming-out party for a community that is celebrating a recent Israeli decision to legally recognize their old-new identity.

Thanks to that recognition, Israeli-Arameans are now on the same footing as other Israeli minorities, such as the Druze and Circassians. And like them, Aramean Christians want their sons to join the IDF. Indeed, Arameans who spoke at the Upper Nazareth event (only a minority of whom actually speak Aramaic, although the aspiration is to revive the language) repeatedly emphasized their desire to defend what they believe is the one state in the Middle East that protects Christians and allows them to practice their religion in peace.

Aramean Christians at the Upper Nazareth event to cheer a recent Israeli decision
to legally recognize their old-new identity......some of whom actually speak Aramaic..........

Aramaic....that is the language Jesus Christ himself spoke when he walked the earth.

Aramaic is a Semitic language that was the common everyday
language in Judea and Galilee during the first century.

(3/13) The network has a trail. Catholics for Catholics lists Gen. Michael Flynn as ‘Current Senior Advisor’ on their own website. Flynn is the anchor of a digital infrastructure that has been repeatedly activated—at every major Republican fracture point—over 22 months of documented data. The same accounts appear at every chapter. This network does not rebuild between deployments. It stays ready...

...

(9/13) The data across all six chapters: 3,166,207 retweet engagements. 80% amplification rate. Abnormal volumes of accounts documented across multiple chapters spanning 22 months. The same accounts that were active before Butler in 2024 are active in the Kent chapter in 2026. This is not a series of separate events. It is a single persistent infrastructure activated at each fracture point.

(10/13) What RT was telling Americans the entire time: throughout March 2026, RT published Alexander Dugin—Putin’s ideological philosopher—declaring MAGA “more than dead, worse than dead, it’s now an undead, a ghoul.” The Flynn network was manufacturing that fracture domestically. RT was amplifying it internationally. Two parts of the same operation are running simultaneously into the same feeds....

... (12/13) The goal of this operation is not to win a political argument, but to make the fractures feel permanent. To make Republicans believe their movement is over. To make soldiers feel the war isn’t worth fighting. To make the government and its officials look unstable and create media that creates more problematic media. Each chapter hits a different pressure point. The network, the timing, and the Russian amplification are consistent across all five. That consistency is the signature.

750 attacks by Israeli Settlers - almost two per day - in 2025?

How many caught?

Fines, jail time, compelled payment for damage?

How many West Bank attacks on Israeli Settlements?

Catholics don’t hold to preterism.

And this article isn’t about any religious doctrine. Have you even read it?

Did you even know that there were/are Christians in the Holy Land who have been there for centuries?

I wanted to know more, so I researched it further. Reading the Wiki article about the Taybeh Brewery gave me a different perspective of the settlor disputes.

I don’t understand what you are asking, birg when you ask “what type of supremacy is this?”

For whatever reason, people are thinking Cronos is making this up.

The settler attacks on Taybeh and other Palestinian villages have been covered extensively. I mean, Naftali Bennet and Tzipi Livni (Sp?) recently blasted Netanyahu for essentially doing nothing to stop them. I guess they are just godless preterists or maybe even anti-semitic though

Strange times and willful blindness here lately. https://www.haaretz.com/west-bank/2026-03-19/ty-article/.premium/ex-pm-bennett-condemns-israeli-settler-attacks-by-violent-gangs-in-west-bank/0000019d-0591-d65b-abfd-95dd44d60000
