Putin making $760m a day from oil as war in Iran delivers windfall

Vladimir Putin is raking in at least $760m (£570m) a day as the war in Iran drives soaring demand for Russian oil. Kremlin sales from oil and gas will double from about $12bn to nearly $24bn this month as Putin profits from an enormous price surge and Donald Trump’s sanctions waivers, according to the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) Institute. Even if the war ends in the next few weeks, Russia’s oil and gas revenues are expected to surge to $218.5bn this year – 63pc more than if there was no disruption to Middle East energy supplies. It means Putin will get an $84bn windfall this year, based on an optimistic scenario in which the war ends in April and energy supplies recover quickly....

Ukraine was always going to be sacrificed by the globalist/Davos/London ghouls.

It may still take years to see the final act, but it was always going to happen.

Something started stinking real bad when the EU clowns blew up their energy lifeline, the Nordstream.....collapsing their manufacturing base and increasing energy costs to their own citizens fourfold.....plain stupidity or planned?

---- "Always knew Trump was in Putin's pocket. < / s>"

And yet there are others who do not and cannot include a sarcasm tag, because they mean it.

Example:

"He's [ President Trump ] in complete denial that his best bud V. V. Putin would supply targeting info to Iran, even though 3 Russian 'spy' satellites pass over the area and Russia and Iran have a long standing defense pact.

"Does he [ President Trump ] just ignore intel briefings, or discount them, or is he just trying to shield best bud V. V. Putin?"

Without the Russian oil, its world price would be even higher.

Just saying......not good news for the Ukie war cheerleaders.

Actually, it's the opposite.

Russia will just use the additional revenue to send more meat to the meat-grinder, where there have already been about 1.5 million Russian casualties. More money, more dead Russians. Duh!

You should be grieving for your fellow Russians Ukraine has already won this war.

Putin is personally making $760 million a day?
Or Russia is?
And what’s the problem with that?
Europeans embraced “Green New Deal” and refused to work on new sources of oil
Now they are paying the price.

Aren’t the Russians using North Korean “volunteers” plus Africans they’ve duped to join the glorious Red Army? Putin is either relieving domestic pressure, or he is planning another move, possibly against the Baltic States.

No, that is the North Korean Army that Putin and Kim Jong Un
have fighting in Europe, not civilian volunteers.

The problem with that money that Putin or Russia is making, is that, it only goes to the destruction of Ukraine and Russia, and to the millions of victims Russia sends to their certain deaths.

What good is ‘earning money’ when it’s only used to kill people?

Putin doesn’t have the resources, nor manpower, to launch any operations against any other states, near or far. The Russia the world used to know, is no longer there. Using manpower or other resources from other countries, is actually a very big sign of weakness.

I was using the term volunteers in quotes, to indicate that they were not real volunteers, but conscripts.

Russia actually lost the war more than 4 years ago, when they were stopped on their tracks and were rendered unable to make any progress towards taking any more of Ukraine. And it's been the same and worse since then for Russia. Recently, Ukraine has actually begun to take back their territory and villages and towns, some 400=500 square miles.

Russia has been reduced to only launching long-distance missile and drone attacks, while Ukraine has been doing the same to Russia assets inside Russia with a lot more success.

Russia has been losing more troops on the battlefield than they can recruit to replace them, and at that rate, it's only a matter of time before Ukraine sends all of them packing back across the border back into Russia.

The war was over years ago, but the hardheadedness of the idiot Putin, continues to bleed his country dry. Russia as a country is, for all intents and purposes, dead.

I know, but so far to Putin’s people here it still doesn’t seem to have soaked in that their man has introduced Kim Jong Un’s communist North Korean Army forces to fight alongside Russian forces as Russia invades in Europe.

There has been in recent weeks a buildup of Russian forces along the border with Estonia. For months, the Russian Army has been building roads, hospitals, and other infrastructure throughout the Russian and Belarusian borders with the Baltic States. The Russian Duma recently passed legislation authorizing the use of force to protect ethnic Russians living in Estonia, many of whom live near the Russian-Estonian border. Reportedly, the Russians have drawn down their gold reserves. The Duma also repealed 1966 legislation forbidding Russian women from working in "unfeminine" jobs like truck driving, construction, mining, etc. That would indicate that young Russian men will be subject to a more extensive draft.

The Russians are waiting to see if the Americans get bogged down in Iran. If Trump can win the war and either cripple Iran for many years or achieve regime change, Russia will likely back down. If the Iran war drags on, the American assistance to the Baltic States will be limited. We have other responsibilities in the Far East with regard to containing Red China and North Korea. Although a NATO member, Turkey, with the second best army in the alliance, will be unable to help, as they are a front line state in the Iran war and may become a part of the resolution. That leaves Poland and France as the most significant powers available to fight the Russians. With America and Turkey out of the picture, NATO and Russian forces are more evenly matched. British forces are degraded due to the Labour Party and DEI infecting their military, and the Germans have still to recover mentally from their 1945 defeat and its aftermath. All of the three largest Western European nations have a native population very dissatisfied with the anti-white and Green New Deal policies of their governments and large Muslim minorities that have no stake in their adopted countries' success.

However, there are healthy nations close to Russia, many of which are former Communist countries, that can counter any Russian moves. The Poles can invade Kaliningrad, the Finns and the Swedes can invade Karelia, and the Romanians can invade Moldova, entrapping the Russians who are occupying Transnistria. For the first time since 1944, there could be warfare from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea.

Putin, or maybe a more militant successor in the Kremlin, may be banking on a bold move to re-establish the Soviet Union/Russian Empire, in fact if not in name.

At least, it took the Epstein Files off the front page. And usually going to war prior to an election increases voter support for the commander in chief. A win/win for Trump and Putin.

More winning! And Trump did say that we would get tired of winning!

Trump is never wrong!
