Iran rejects Trump’s ‘excessive’ peace plan
The Telegraph ^ | 03/25/2026 | Kieran Kelly, Lilia Sebouai

Iran has rejected Donald Trump’s “excessive” peace plan and demanded reparations for the war.

The Islamic Republic said the 15-point plan, delivered via a “friendly intermediary”, failed to reflect the balance of power in the conflict.

“Iran will end the war when it decides to do so and when its own conditions are met,” an official told Press TV, a state-owned channel.

Mr Trump’s demands of Iran included no nuclear enrichment, limits on missiles, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Press TV published Iran’s list of counter demands that included an end to aggression, promises that the war would not restart, reparations, and a guarantee of Iranian “authority” over the strait.

Earlier on Wednesday, Iran denied that direct talks to end the war had started, telling the US: “You are negotiating with yourselves.”

Antonio Guterres, the United Nations secretary-general, said on Wednesday that the war had grown “out of control”.

He added: “The conflict has broken past the limits even leaders thought imaginable. The world is staring down the barrel of a wider war, a rising tide of human suffering, and a deeper global economic shock. This has gone too far.”

Germany said Mr Trump’s “misguided policies” were hitting its economy.

The 15 point plan was basically the same proposal from last year which they already rejected..they were NEVER going to give up their uranium its the only card they have to play. I think what is going on is that Trump is going to let loose on Friday but he wanted the stock market and gas prices to go down a little bit before doing the big guns that is why paratroopers are going to the middle east, honestly why would you need paratroopers for what

Below is a consolidated summary of the points reported across UPI, Yahoo, AOL, TIME, and other outlets. These reflect the substance of the plan as described by U.S. and regional sources.

🔐 1. Nuclear Program Rollback (Core of the Plan)
Trump’s proposal demands that Iran:
• Commit never to pursue nuclear weapons
• Dismantle its entire nuclear program
• Cease all uranium enrichment on Iranian soil
• Transfer its enriched uranium stockpile (≈450–970 lbs depending on source) to the IAEA
• Decommission key nuclear facilities:
• Natanz
• Isfahan
• Fordow

2. Missile Program Restrictions
Iran would be required to:
• Limit the range and quantity of its ballistic missiles
• Accept monitoring and verification of missile‑related activities

3. End Support for Proxy Militias
Iran must stop funding, arming, and directing:
- Hezbollah (Lebanon)
- Hamas (Gaza)
- Houthis (Yemen)
- Other regional proxy groups

🌊 4. Reopen and Guarantee Free Passage Through the Strait of Hormuz
Iran must:
- Reopen the Strait of Hormuz
- Guarantee it remains a free maritime corridor for global oil and gas shipping

5. Sanctions Relief & Civilian Nuclear Cooperation (U.S. Concessions)
In exchange for compliance, the U.S. would:
• Lift all international sanctions on Iran
• Support civilian nuclear energy cooperation, monitored by the IAEA

🛡️ 6. Additional Elements Reported
Other points mentioned across sources include:
• Ensuring safe shipping lanes in the Persian Gulf
• Establishing verification mechanisms for compliance
• Creating a timeline for nuclear material transfer
• Addressing Iran’s ballistic missile production sites
• Facilitating regional de-escalation

____________________________________

Iran has rejected the plan outright, calling it illogical and refusing negotiations.
Tehran has instead demanded:
• War reparations
• Sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz
• A complete end to U.S. and Israeli military operations

Sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz

They are pirates, and they are admitting that they are pirates.

Exactly who is F’ing Telegraph talking to? The British govt and Crown should be next. They sure don’t seem to be worried about dragging everyone into WWIII via their Ukrainian puppets.

"Nobody knows who Trump is talking to."

Whomever Trump is talking to is on a "No kill" list, but that status is revokable at his discretion.

I said this in another thread...

Forget the Ayatollah, the President or even the Speaker of Iran’s parliament. The REAL power in Iran is whoever controls the IRGC.

The IRGC is the most powerful institution in Iran The IRGC controls:

Military Power

- Iran’s missile program

- Drone production

- Cyber operations

- The Quds Force (foreign operations)

- Internal repression (via Basij)

The IRGC owns or controls:

- construction conglomerates

- telecoms

- ports

- smuggling networks

- oil and gas infrastructure

- banking channels

It is essentially a state within a state.

In crises, the IRGC becomes even more dominant because:

- it controls the missiles

- it controls the proxies

- it controls the borders

- it controls internal security

- it controls the economy under sanctions

The civilian government becomes almost irrelevant.

In practice:

- If the IRGC turned on the Supreme Leader, he would fall.

- If the Supreme Leader turned on the IRGC, he HIMSELF would fall faster.

So yes — the real power is whoever commands the IRGC. Unless the USA is talking to WHOEVER controls the IRGC, we are wasting our time.

As long as the theocrats are in power, there will NEVER be an agreement.

I would hope that Israeli intelligence which had considerable assets in place at the height of the regime has taken the opportunity to significantly enhance those assets.

Trump should just destroy all the military infrastructure he can.

Secure the Strait of Hormuz as best he can.

And with NO agreement, we declare that we are through attacking for now, but whenever our intelligence sees terrorist activity and military build up, we will not hesitate to strike again.

In other words leave them hanging.

The theocrats don’t want peace anymore than little Z wants peace in the Ukraine.

Peace agreements are overrated.

The only way to get along with these terrorists is let them understand that they will be targeted whenever we deem it necessary.

Nobody knows who Trump is talking to.

Himself... and whoever made the huge profits just before the announcement and (manipulated) markets opening Monday.
