Special Counsel Jack Smith’s targeting of Kash Patel and numerous congressional Republicans as part of his lawfare against Donald Trump was worse than originally thought, new records show.
Released Tuesday by Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Ted Cruz, R-Texas, the new documents demonstrate that Smith and his team’s efforts to acquire Patel’s phone records during his time as a private citizen were far more extensive than previously reported. The bid to acquire such information came as part of Smith’s Arctic Frost investigation, which ultimately became his elector lawfare against Trump.
Now-FBI Director Patel originally told Reuters last month that the Biden FBI had subpoenaed his phone records, as well as those of then-Trump confidant and now-White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The subpoenas covered phone calls from 2022 and 2023, with Patel claiming that Smith’s collection of Wiles’ phone records “extended into [her] time as Trump’s co-campaign manager, though he did not say when exactly the record collection began or ended,” according to the outlet.

And Patel has done absolutely nothing about it. He’s a loser.
So what? Smith is in the club, I’ll be punished for Smith’s crimes long before Smith is punished.

According to a Jan 2023 outline by Special Counsel Jack Smith (or his team) related to a briefing before AG Garland, prosecutors had already met with DC Chief Judge Howell about a pending “omnibus” motion to deny exec privilege for numerous Trump aides.
Howell “loved” the idea. In fact, she loved it so much that in March 2023, she granted exactly what Jack Smith was looking for...

Gee don’t all prosecutors coordinate with the judges. Oh wait this is the USA so I guess not. When some group of official goons operates outside of lawful parameters, why cannot those harmed do the same.

Because this was before Jack Smith filed any legal action against Trump or his associates (or subpoenaed their documents or records), so technically there was no pending case and no “parties” to any particular action.
Their indictment, trials and public executions need to be performed by the military since in DC the entire system is pretty much totally corrupted. JMO.
I didn’t realize that Jack Smith was free to run around loose w/o a target on his back, along with Bozoberg & Howl. There should be ways of getting rid of rid of people like those judges w/o doing something illegal. Makes me think of an old Hank Jr. recording called “Mr. Lincoln”. If you’ve never heard it, you should look it up. It will remind you of what was intended when this nation first became a nation.
Those who run kangaroo courts should serve their prison sentences in a kangaroo cage at the zoo.
