An Air Canada Flight 8646 was involved in an incident at LaGuardia Airport on Sunday night, according to initial reports.
Authorities say the aircraft, carrying more than 100 passengers from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, struck a fire truck while taxiing after landing.
Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene. Initial reports indicated multiple injuries, though officials have not confirmed the extent or severity.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation, and authorities have not released further details.

ICE......
Sounds more like a fire truck in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Well, duh. Dumbasses were a part of the scene.
DEI?
Yep. I’m just saying what the media is going to say. And normally ground vehicles must follow an escort vehicle out on active runways and taxiway. That escort vehicle is in constant rafio comm with ground and tower controllers.
Looks like the flight crew and first-class passengers took the brunt of it.
That’s my first thought also.
2 Dead, and at least 60 injured including 3 in critical condition after an Air Canada plane collided with a fire truck on the tarmac at LaGuardia Airport.
We could fill out a bingo card with all the possible causes. DEI? Sleeper cell? Truck of peace? ICE protest? Confused gender?

60 “minor” injuries is what I heard one of the reports say, plus a few more severe injuries, plus one or two possible deaths.
Perhaps most of the minor injuries occurred when the plane tipped back while they were evacuating out the rear (my speculation, based on what someone in a video who was watching commented).
Also heard the plane was taxing at ~25mph when the collision occurred.
