British cabinet minister Steve Reed said on Sunday that there was no assessment that backed claims Iran is planning to strike Europe with ballistic missiles, or that it even has the capacity to do so.
On Saturday, the Israel Defence Forces posted on social media that Iran has missiles "that can reach London, Paris or Berlin".
"There is no assessment to substantiate what's being said," British Housing Secretary Reed told the BBC. "I'm not aware of any assessment at all that they are even trying to target Europe, let alone that they could if they tried."

Now that Iran has shown they have the capability to hit most of the major capitals in Europe including London, you have to wonder if in some type of doomsday scenario, the Iranian regime might launch some type of dirty bomb towards European capitals.
If the regime is going to fall, in a final act of war, is it possible in some mountain cave somewhere, the regime has a handful of dirty bombs hidden away to launch towards Europe or other Muslim capitals, what do they have to lose at that point.

European nations have consistently communicated a desire and intention to stay out of the US/Israel vs. Iran conflict. This is just par for the course.
It's no surprise that Israel wants to get more countries involved by invoking Iran's missile capabilities as a threat, but those countries are not obligated to treat Iran as a threat just because Israel or the United States say so.

This is the problem with using “imminent risk” as your standard for defense. You have to wait until something actually happens before you act. You would think Iran trying to hit Diego Garcia would suffice for Europe. But, no.
Media people, for some reason, keep asking him questions about Iran.
Regardless, to say there is no threat is a non serious statement

It’s quite possible that Iran has dirty bombs-in-waiting. Iran has just demonstrated that they have missiles capable of reaching GB. They were just pointed in a different direction. This Brit is a fool for thinking otherwise.
The distance between Iran and Diego Garcia is about 2,500 miles, the same as the distance between Iran and Paris.
