The U.S. Space Force has swapped rockets for an upcoming GPS satellite launch.
Next month's GPS III-8 mission had been slated to fly atop United Launch Alliance (ULA)'s new Vulcan Centaur rocket. But Vulcan has experienced issues with its solid rocket boosters (SRBs), so the Space Force is moving the GPS spacecraft onto a SpaceX Falcon 9.

United Launch Alliance, LLC (ULA) is an American launch service provider formed in December 2006 as a joint venture between Lockheed Martin Space and Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

BTW, Hedy La Marr (a screen name made up by Louis B. Mayer) was an inventor during WWII. Her work on frequency hopping technology aided in the development of torpedo guidance and later the Internet.
A spokesperson said, “We’re sick of all the delays with the Vulcan rocket.”
Beauty and brains, though people only recognized her beauty and dismissed her brilliance.
The old defense dinosaurs are too rich, fat and lazy to produce weapons anymore. It’s time to cut them loose and to find new manufacturers.
