The man accused of killing a Theodore mother and her two children made his first court appearance Friday on newly filed capital murder charges that could lead to the death penalty. Hector Argueta-Guerra, 31, is charged with the murders of 40-year-old Aurelia Choc, her 17-year-old daughter Niurka Zuleta Choc, and 2-year-old Anthony Garcia Choc. The family was reported missing in late January. Their bodies were discovered Wednesday buried together in a wooded area in Summerdale. Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood says he's reviewed the preliminary autopsy results.
"The findings are gruesome. The findings are horrific. This family did not deserve to be killed in this way," said Blackwood.

Authorities say Guerra had a final deportation order issued in 2021 but was released instead. Blackwood says Guerra has an extensive criminal record in El Salvador and was affiliated with the SureƱos gang. Guerra is currently being held without bond at the Mobile Metro Jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 6th.

There ya go ...another disgrace against American citizens!
Stoke the fires of HELL, cuz he's on his way soon!
“A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 6th.”
Then a trial five years from now, then the death penalty, then a 30-year wait until execution. Taxpayers billed millions for all the court costs and lawyers’ fees.
“The findings are gruesome. The findings are horrific. This family did not deserve to be killed in this way,” said Blackwood.”
So how exactly did they deserve to be killed?
Yes! I resent the fact that we taxpayers have to pay for everything for these vermin. We get to pay for their attorney or attorneys, an interpreter, any "expert" witnesses at trial, for the trial itself, for incarceration throughout the trial period, for any appeals, and for the scumbag's imprisonment for life since we rarely execute anyone.
We are reading of too many crimes by released criminals. There must be a law preventing this travesty in justice.
Who ever allowed this vicious criminal to be released needs to be held fully accountable - i.e., charged with murder and suffer the same consequences as the killer.
It's far past time - and lost lives - to put up with this any longer.
Old Age is preferred.
Can’t we at least hold somebody in contempt for refusing to comply with the deportation order?
A website dedicated to recording and displaying to the country the malfeasance of judges and prosecutors in cases like this one comes to mind.
Indict Obama for these things. Its all his fault.
Laws are only effective when enforced.
Just make the judges who order their release accountable for any future crimes committed.
I’m from Theodore. I graduated from Theodore H.S. None of these people are from Theodore.
Especially when they are reducing sentencing.

Pretty sure they’re not from the USA either.
It would be interesting knowing the legal status of the victims. Could be an illegal murdering illegals.
The perp of this crime needs a dirt nap ASAP!
The law that will change such releases at the expense of Americans losing their family members will border on vigilante justice.
