‘Petitioners’ told the undercover journalists that they are paid between $7-$10 per signature. Some of them earn up to $1,000 per day.

“California NGOs Encourage Fake Addresses To Homeless People To Sign Petitions & Register Voters, A State & Federal Felony. Footage Shows 28 Instances Of Cash Changing Hands For Ballot Signatures & Voter Registration Forms,” they said.

“Many of the petitioners had no understanding of the petitions’ purpose they were advertising. Circulators also instructed individuals to use fake addresses. “Oh, you can just fake an address.”” OMG reported.

“Weingart Center, which received hundreds of millions in public funding, is on tape directing people to where the fraudulent petitioners are located, and directing homeless individuals to petitioners & coaching plausible deniability,” OMG said.

O’Keefe Media Group reporters encountered “28 instances of petitioners offering cash, cigarettes, and marijuana for signatures on petitions.”

“See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea,’” a Weingart Center employee told the undercover journalist.

US Attorney Bill Essayli responded to the O’Keefe Media Group’s latest undercover sting exposing a cash for ballots scheme in California.

“Under 52 U.S.C. § 10307(c), it is a federal crime to provide false information on a voter registration form or to offer payment to complete a voter registration form,” Bill Essayli said.

“While longstanding DOJ policy prevents me from discussing specific investigations, I want to assure the public that this DOJ, under the leadership of @AGPamBondi, will aggressively pursue anyone and everyone involved in violating federal election laws,” Essayli said.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, LA DA Nathan Hochman, the California Secretary of State’s office and Governor Newsom have all confirmed they are aware of O’Keefe’s undercover sting.

“This alleged activity is a felony in California. Anyone caught engaging in this activity should be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” a Newsom spokesperson said to James O’Keefe.

Which activity - fraudulent voter registration or O’Keefe’s documentation of it?

If a Newsom spokesperson said that you know it’s O’Keefe who’s the bad guy.

right, David Daleiden all over again https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/david-daleiden-sandra-merritt-abortion/2025/01/27/id/1196757/ from that article:
Kamala “Harris’ successor as attorney general, Democrat Xavier Becerra, who would become Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services under President Joe Biden, charged them both with violating California’s recording law. The state had never criminally prosecuted undercover journalists for recordings made in the public interest, according to Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal group that represented Merritt.

Merritt and Daleiden were each charged with 14 felony counts of unlawfully recording a conversation and one felony count of criminal conspiracy.”

Okay, so now what? We've busted how many voter fraud operations, across the country, so far? How many arrests?

These NGOs need to be eliminated. All of them. If they are a true charity, 95% of their revenue must go to direct aid expenses, not salaries.

Thank you Mr. O’Keefe, unfortunately this seems a lot like trying to kill all the cockroaches, you’ll never get them all and when you leave the area, the others will just crawl back in...something LARGER must be done.

I don’t want to HIJACK the thread. However, Nick Shirley put out another video two days ago about people in California scamming the ADULT and Child Day care system. Similar to MN in the fact that there were dozens of businesses getting paid millions billing the California government for providing MEDICARE services for primarily old people.

They do this by getting your Federal Medicare number. Then bill for services they never provided. These business were all store front. Many were operating out of a former motel.
He points out all the high end automobiles in the parking lot. Cyber trucks, Mercedes, BMWs were the vehicle of choice. Lots of six figure autos were owned by the businesses.

Reminds me of an old COWBOYS cartoon by Ace Reid from about 60 years ago.
A reporter is asking a Texas Hispanic about discrimination at the polls. The Mexican says..”Si! There is discrimination at the polls! I voted seven times and he only paid me for three!”
In the background is a politician handing out money to illegals for votes.

More "aggressive" words and posturing. Bondi's DOJ has a policy of doing nothing.

This is why the save act won’t matter one bit!

Bondi & Kash can be arresting/prosecuting people today for voting crimes but they aren’t. So what if we have the Save Act. No one will ever be prosecuted...so in essence it makes it harder for citizens to vote but the fraud will still occur.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m for the Save Act, but I’m also for enforcing the laws we have today. Why do you think it will be different with a new law?

Bondi and Kash need to be fired!

This is good news. Prosecutions will follow.

Yet, reading down this thread, the same, usual suspects are relentlessly fatalistic. While we can’t be pollyannaish, but if they can’t contribute something meaningful the forum would benefit greatly if those types would post at DU or on Bluesky.

Yes shining the light of truth in the dark places is always a good thing. The cockroaches sure don’t like it. And yes we’ve been conditioned over the decades to practice passive fatalistic thinking. I do know for sure though that Good will overcome evil.
