Famed Democratic strategist James Carville has opened up about some of his worst botched predictions, admitting that experts don’t necessarily have better insights into the future than the average person.
“One of the things that I don’t like to ask experts in sports — and people ask me all the time, I don’t get mad about it — is, ‘Who’s going to win?’ The truth of the matter is, I’m not sure,” Carville told ESPN sports analyst Stephen A. Smith during a video interview for Politicon that aired last week. "The truth of the matter is, I’m not a very good predictor of elections,” Carville said.

In October 2024, he penned a now-infamous op-ed for the New York Times titled, “Three Reasons I’m Certain Kamala Harris Will Win” the presidential election. Carville also authored the 2009 book, “40 More Years: How the Democrats Will Rule the Next Generation.”

inbred moron...still remember him putting a garbage pail over his head 20 years ago- and that’s where he belongs- in the garbage...
Is this idiot a comedian now? LOl
“It’s tough to make predictions, especially about the future”
Same James Carville of National Enquirer “bat boy” fame?
Not one of the predictions but add this:
Made an attempt to pass as human.
Kellyanne and George Conway.
Mary Matalin and James Carville.
Goes to show how the sexist line of the 1950s started.
“Ya just can’t figure dames.”
No offense to the highly intelligent women of FR.
Hah.
When Yogi Berra said that he also believed “Whenever you come to a fork in the road, always take it.”
Women who marry someone like James Carville took the wrong road.
Definitely not a fan, but I always heard he’s a good husband and father.
When I as growing up in CT, there was an insane asylum in Middletown. I think it was called the Gaylord Sanitarium. All the residents word shirts with horizontal blue and white striped of varying widths. I had not seen one of those shirts in 70 years...until today when Crazy Carville was ranting away on television. He even looked like my maternal grandfather who was a resident there! (Yes, I know insanity can be heriditary...I got it from my kids!)
It’s been many years since he’s been a “top Dem strategist.” Wrong color.
this guy made 1 win into a career...and that win was only because idiot Ross Perot handed the election to Clinton. Karl Rove is another one...Trump basically ruined him and the Bushes. Rove will never get over that.
Professional Scammer.
James Car-vile on CNN, and look who’s sitting at the same table with his signature bow tie...

Betcha he wishes he was back on CNN now!
In our part of CT we had Fairfield Hills aka the “Newtown Nut House “.
Must be hard to narrow it down.
Carville reminds me of Roger Waters. They are both so ugly, they look better as old men than they did when they were young.
