The Europeans are major buyers of Russian oil and have been since the start of the Ukraine conflict. So has the US under Biden. The hypocrisy on display here is off the charts.
Figuratively opening the Russian pipeline while choking the flow of oil to China...brilliant move.

If he refuses to supply oil that means he gets no $$$ billions in revenue.
Well, it is true and a stunning reversal, really. I get that geopolitics is never static, but what leverage does Trump have now over Putin? Trump must have some good intel that Ukraine is collapsing, and after the faux outrage when Kyiv falls, we have to make nice with Russia again.
Possible negotiating tool. Russian oil moves and no more intel to Iran. Maybe.

The Indians were one of the largest buyers of the Russian oil because they were buying it at a big discount to the Brent Sea crude spot price.
They were buying almost all their domestic consumption plus all they could make into diesel and sell to others.
Then they were buying oil and reloading it and or mixing it with crude from other sources. Then selling it to others.
The discount was about $30/barrel off the Brent Sea Crude price(I BELIEVE). So, buying millions of barrels of oil at this discount makes your country and petro corporations MILLIONS of profit EVERY DAY.

Anything to hurt Ukraine. I simply do not see any reason to prop up Putin.
