Investigators say that on the morning of Aug. 5, 2025, Vincent Wolf, a construction worker who lived in a Sylmar apartment complex with his mother and aunt, parked his black Toyota Corolla alongside an RV outside of his building.
He exited his vehicle, walked up to 29-year-old Travis Harker, who had been homeless for years, and fatally shot him once in the chest, the search warrant affidavit alleges.
Surveillance footage of Wolf’s vehicle led investigators to identify him as a suspect in the deadly shooting.
Instagram records revealed a series of irate posts about homelessness in the city.
‘They piss and s**t in the street. They do drugs in the middle of the night,” he wrote in August post. “They f***ing screamed for no reason. And most importantly violent.”
At the time of his arrest by LAPD SWAT, a search of his bedroom revealed three rifles, two handguns and ammunition magazines that were tucked into a police-style belt.

After the fatal shooting, Wolf went on about his day, running errands to the bank, a pot dispensary and going to McDonalds before returning home.

Didn’t help that the perp. goes to pot dispensaries. There are other ways to get rid of the homeless...tossing their enablers (grifting, lying politicians) is the first step....

The conditions the state of California created that encourage widespread, violent and unpoliced vagrancy are mitigating factors, imho.

True. LA. mayor and elected officials encourage law-breaking. Police don't intervene saying it's a civil matter. Meanwhile, bums are crapping and pissing in front of your residence and screaming at night. You could move, at great expense. But the stress builds and you take action. All because liberal officials stealing your tax dollars do nothing for your sanity and well-being. If I were on the jury, I would let him off.
