Vote Kevin Wilson in the D2 congressional primary... gives us an actual shot to take down Benny Thompson in the general.

Also,

While Tuesday’s election highlight is a congressional special election in Georgia, there is unlikely to be a winner until an April runoff. The Mississippi midterm primary is also taking place, but there’s not much to see on the competitive front. There are also legislative special elections in Georgia and New Hampshire.

Polls in Georgia and New Hampshire close at 7:00 PM Eastern, while those in Mississippi close at 8:00 PM Eastern.

Congressional Special Election
Georgia District 14

After a public falling-out with Donald Trump, Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene announced in November that she would resign from Congress in January. This district - located in the northwest corner - is among the most conservative in Georgia

Trump won the district by 37% over Kamala Harris in 2024, his largest margin in the state.

A huge field of 22 candidates is on the all-party special election ballot. There are 17 Republicans, 3 Democrats, a Libertarian and an independent. Five of the Republicans have withdrawn since the filing deadline.

The most prominent Republicans are state district attorney Clayton Fuller and former state Sen. Colton Moore. Trump has endorsed Fuller, making it likely he’ll be the top vote-getter on Tuesday. Also in the mix is former Paulding County Commissioner Brian Stover and Jim Tully, Chair of the 14th District GOP and a former staffer for Greene.

Retired Brigadier Gen. Shawn Harris, who lost to Greene by a 64% to 36% margin in 2024, is expected to get the lion’s share of Democratic votes.
