I hope so. But the damage will have already been done. That’s how they operate.

“to restore fairness in the upcoming elections,”

.

To restore fairness...

Right there one can get more than just a glimpse of the BS freight train crashing through the constitution at 90 mph.

Lock the progs up in cages that are out in the open like a zoo.

Yep. Too many words.

The court will demand rewrite to something like — redistrict new precincts until 2030 — yes or no.

That reads like “This will only be a temporary tax” type initiatives.

Yeah, it’ll be temporary like the federal income tax was.

“...temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections...”

If they get the word that everyone in the state is going to vote for one party, do they temporarily take votes from outside the state or only let half vote what they did and change the other’s votes to balance the election? It’s not a participation award here, it’s a competition and the goal is getting elected, not tied. idiots!!!

I think the VA supreme court only hears the cases against the referendum after the vote on April 21st.

Because the Democrats carry Virginia by a couple of hundred thousand votes in Presidential elections (I think if you exclude the DC suburbs, Trump outpolled Harris in the rest of the state), “fairness” dictates having 9 of the 10 Congressmen from the state.

Marilyn had a referendum on the ballot once after getting hundreds of thousands of signatures. The Democrats with a veto-proof legislature majority worded it something like…

Agree or disagree:
Maryland Congressional Districts should be drawn in accordance with the US constitution.

Of course it passed even though Maryland is one of the most severely gerrymandered states in the USA. The constitution only has two requirements. The first is that the districts are approximately equal in population. The second is that the districts are continuous. There are districts where 60% of its voters in an almost 100% democrat area are connected by a single road extending for miles to an area that is extremely (or was back then) heavily Republican. Republicans had zero actual representation.
