San Francisco police officers arrested a man accused of stabbing a person at an intersection in Chinatown Thursday afternoon, officials said Friday.
The attack, which was captured on surveillance footage and was shared widely online, occurred just before 1:13 p.m. at the corner of Stockton and Sacramento streets. Officers who arrived on scene located a victim suffering from an apparent stab wound and paramedics transferred him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials said. The victim remained hospitalized Friday, officials said.
In the aftermath, a person matching the suspect’s description was apprehended near the 600 block of Powell Street. San Francisco Sheriff’s Deputies detained the man. Police officials declined to identify him, citing the “pending investigation.”

Then the alleged assailant lunges toward the man and strikes him in the back before hurrying away. In the video, the victim can be seen clutching his lower back in apparent pain before he sits down on the ground. As he turns around to assume a crawling position in the middle of the sidewalk, a handful of people walk past.

Forget about it Jake... it’s Chinatown...
Eternal vigilance is needed, it could happen anywhere these days, without rhyme or reason.
Forget the victim, is the assailant okay? Did his rights get violated? Did they threaten to deport him? Is he comfortable in jail? These are the things the MSM must know.
Watched the video.
The worst part is after he’s stabbed, and his attacker was far gone, nobody seemed to help him. They looked, walked around him, scooted over, but finally one guy reached down with his cell phone after he passed out!
I dunno if he helped, the video cuts off there. Maybe he was gonna make a tiktok video.
Chinese are like that. Keep to themselves as there are so many of them everywhere. I can remember watching the tube on 911 where a bunch of them continued their mahjong game while the twin towers were in the background all up in smoke. Oblivious.
The lack of humanity is now the norm.
Husband and I lived in San Francisco for five years and loved to go to Chinatown for food. We walked several blocks around the area and found our fave Chinese restaurant with the most authentic food. Little place with dirty windows, absolutely delish food.
Other Asian restaurants in the area too. We tried everything and noticed that those with the best food always had dirty windows. That became our criteria. Apparently dirty windows meant that the owners had recently come from China or Taiwan or other Asian countries.
I live in Spokane now. No dirty windows and lousy Asian food. Grrrrrrr.
