With Iran's missile stockpiles gutted, launchers destroyed (75% wiped out by IDF strikes), and its forces reeling from relentless U.S.-Israeli pounding, the mullahs' puppet president Masoud Pezeshkian is now groveling with a fake "apology" to Gulf Arab states. In a pathetic TV address, he promised to halt attacks on neighbors—'unless' provoked from their soil—while personally apologizing for the "fire at will" barrages that hit civilian airports, oil facilities, and cities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and beyond.
This isn't magnanimous diplomacy; it's a blatant admission of defeat and a cynical bid to save what's left of their crumbling arsenal. Tehran got smashed, civilians are dying (over 1,300 reported), the economy is in freefall, and now they're begging for breathing room while hardliners and the IRGC openly defy the order—continuing drone and missile strikes even after the announcement.
US President Donald Trump nailed it: Iran is "being beat to HELL"', has "apologized and surrendered" to its neighbors, and is no longer the regional bully but "THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST." He vowed Iran "will be hit very, very hard"—and areas previously off-limits are now on the table for "complete destruction."
Classic Iranian regime tactic: pretend restraint when cornered, all while plotting revenge and keeping the "unless provoked" escape clause wide open. This conditional "halt" is nothing but weakness disguised as wisdom—Tehran knows full well that U.S. bases in those countries are fair game for them, but heaven forbid Arabs defend themselves.
The mask is off: Iran's aggression has backfired spectacularly, exposing a fractured, desperate regime on the ropes.

U.S. President Donald Trump warned in a Truth Social post that more Iranian officials will be targets, saying, “Today Iran will be hit very hard!” while noting an apology by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian earlier in the day to neighbouring nations over Tehran’s attacks.
Gulf countries say they have intercepted more ballistic missiles and drones launched from Iran.
Saudi Arabia said it stopped four drones attacking the country’s massive Shaybah oil field, the second attack within hours. Flights in and out of Dubai International Airport were interrupted after passengers were ushered down into train tunnels as several blasts were heard and the alert sounded [https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/mideast-conflict/article/iraqi-officials-report-strike-on-us-embassy-spain-evacuates-embassy-in-tehran-live-updates-here/]

i strongly suspect that the Iranian attacks on putatively “friendly” neighbors is likely the result of isolated IRGC units shooting off missiles in all directions, and is caused by the breakdown of central command and control and overall breakdown of communications ...
to me, it’s almost inconceivable that whatever remains of central command and control would deliberately want to target “friendly” countries ...
When you can’t trust a murderous muzzie, who can you trust?
Do we not know where this Masoud Pezeshkian takes his bubble baths?
A common tater on FOX thought that Iran’s command and communication is so broken that these are pre planned dead man commands.
Dishonesty from a Muslim?
Inconceivable!
I wonder how much of this war is related to to two things.
1. I’d bet dollars to donut holes that Iran has stopped shipping Shaheed drones to Russia which will affect the war there.
2. By taking out more or less top of the line Russian and Chinese missile defense and air control radar systems, the Trump administration is sending a message to those countries. He’s telling them, “Don’t get cocky. We can do this to you too.”
I still don’t like this kind of thing and wish there was another way to accomplish the goal.
I would imagine it’s because they said they wouldn’t attack these countries unless they allowed their bases to be used to attack Iran.
From an article from The Times of Israel:
<< Pezeshkian’s apology to Gulf states for a week-long blitz of their territory — and his pledge to rein in such attacks — quickly prompted pushback from hardliners in the Revolutionary Guards and clerical elite, forcing him into a partial climbdown.
In one of the most open criticisms of Pezeshkian, and a sign of internal division, hardline cleric and lawmaker Hamid Rasai addressed the president on social media, saying: “Your stance was unprofessional, weak and unacceptable.” >>
They are trying to drive up oil so that it will raise gas prices. Higher gas prices means people will ask for Trump and Israel to stop. Democrats will gain control.
I am sure Iran has command and control. Any sane person would stop once they are defeated, but then again the government and military are nutjobs.
Maybe Trump is over inflating our success. I wouldn’t think so.
don’t know about chinese air defense systems but all of the russian systems taken out in syria and iran have been the russian’s older S-300 systems rather than the top of line russian S-400 systems, which russia refused to let iran have ..
Iran is following the Steppenwolf battle plan:
“Fire all of your guns at once and
Explode into space”
It is hard not to conclude that this signals a breakdown in Iran’s leaderships’ command and control. This is not a good sign for Iran. On the bright side it gives us an excuse to continue pounding the regime into the ground.
