He made the remarks while speaking during a round table on collegiate sports in the White House.
Trump told the press, "We're doing very -- by the way, in Iran. Somebody said, how would you score it from zero to 10? I said I'd give it a 12 to a 15. Their army is gone. Their Navy is gone. Their communications are gone. Their leaders are gone. Two sets of their leaders are gone. They're down to their third set. Their air forces wiped out entirely. Think of it. They have 32 ships. All 32 are at the bottom of the ocean."

Who is there to actually sign a surrender?
How do they even surrender?
Individually?
Depends on what you're scoring. Iran has a lot of weaponry hidden underground. Sure, we bombed entrances and exits. But are we going to keep going after hidden missiles and other weapons in tunnels? Are going to destroy other factories to stop Iran from rebuilding military assets? And will the USA keep bombing despite democrats screaming to stop the war?
My hope is that the war continues until Iran has run out of military options to strike us. Also that we destroy their oil production, pipelines and ports so that Russia and China will be starved.
Russia and China will buy their oil from someone else. Russia probably has lots of oil. These countries will not starve.
Trump talks bigger than reality though. Don’t take this the wrong way, but they are still there and they are still causing issues.
We need to increase pressure to win. Trump saying they are all dead makes it sound like it’s over when it’s not.
Next cry you’ll hear from the liberal leftists is that “innocent people are dying and starving” because of the big bad US & Israel.

i think the idea is to raze all police/”security” and military facilities and military factories to the ground, but to preserve basic infrastructure like electrical generation and oil production as a foundation for re-establishing a civilization free of the mullahs and the IRGC ...
most of the Iranians HATE the mullahs and the IRGC, especially the youth, and it would be insane to want to bomb the entire nation back into the stone age because then the people would hate the USA instead and tens of millions of starving, penniless refuges would pour into the rest of the world ... Persians who were free of the Mullahs and the IRGC could Make Iran Great Again!
I didn't say to put them into a stone age scenario, just that we bomb oil production and ports beneficial to China and possibly Russia. A more friendly regime can take over and rebuild.
After all, we did worse to Germany and Japan during WWII, and they recovered with new constitutions and government. Matter of fact, we destroyed major civilian cities utterly completely without worrying about killing hundreds of thousands of civilians. That was the USA doing that. We're not going to do that today.
