The House committee investigating Jeffrey Epstein voted to subpoena U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify on her handling of Justice Department files on the disgraced financier.
The Republican-led House Oversight Committee voted 24 to 19 Wednesday to issue the subpoena.
A Justice Department spokesman didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on the vote.
Republican Nancy Mace of South Carolina proposed the subpoena and it passed the over the objection of the panel’s chairman, James Comer of Kentucky.
Mace said the subpoena would require a taped, closed-door deposition under oath and a time had not yet been set for it to take place. She said she would ask Bondi about files related to Epstein that have not been released as required under a law passed by Congress.
“I need to get to the bottom of this,” she told reporters after the vote. “This is going to go down as one of the greatest coverups in American history.”

MTG has been reincarnated. Idiot.
Uh oh, will the Dow get back to 50,000 in time?
Has she fought this hard to uncover the coverup of the 2020 election steal?
She never mentioned Epstein during the Otto Penn years.
At this point they need to go ahead start focusing in on the still redacted evidence that Todd Blanche already admitted contains images “depicting death” and find out who exactly was dead, and how they supposedly died before being photographed. There would be no statute of limitations on possible homicide.
..... I have a feeling the Drooling TDS sufferers out there just might find this enquiry to be a rather anticlimactic event ...... I'm pretty sure this is actually all about the "Tarnish the MAGA Movement Before the Mid Terms" crowd in an effort to do such.

The murder of Epstein in prison? /s
Having a body and proof of a crime would help.
Good. She needs to answer some tough questions about how she handled this.
“””Good. She needs to answer some tough questions about how she handled this.”””
Do they have any questions for the democrats who have been in charge of the investigations for many years?
Bondi can’t charge anyone after all these years.
Assistant AG Blanche has already admitted in a public address that there are pictures "depicting death" still being withheld. There is no statute of limitations for murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit, etc, so those charges could very easily still be filed, for many more years, still, if evidence calls for it.
Who was killed?
Where is the body?
In what state did the murder occur?
Whodunnit?
Glad to see you’re finally interested in finding out, what are these pictures “depicting death” and who exactly, is involved. Both living and deceased.
In what state did this unknown murder take place?
The Epstein scandal is a bottomless pit with those 3.5 millions of pages of information. Who are they going to employ just reading them? How are they going to manage their interpretations? With a legal system that could indite a ham sandwich, how will they even decide what the definition of is, is.
Agreed.
The Epstein files have become the most tiresome, revolting concept. They rate right up their with Russiagate, racism, and Hitler. The politicians just cannot let it go.
Just like Massie. I think she's trying to overshadow the ethics complaint she's being investigated for.
That is very disturbing and there is also the possibility that other nations have copies of such evidence and are using it for blackmail.
