Dick move.

I don't like US Senators picking their own successors by not announcing their retirement but just waiting until the filing window closes.

In his news release, Daines said that he is supporting Alme to succeed him in the U.S. Senate: “I’ve known Kurt Alme for years. He was appointed U.S. Attorney by President Trump in his first term and then reappointed when President Trump was reelected because he did such a good job cracking down on crime.”

Timing prevented Tester from running for an open seat.

Agreed. And if it leads to the Party of Satan taking that seat it’s another step towards the impeachment of Donald Trump, and if the Stupid Party does as poorly as I expect in the midterms we will see Satans minions take control of the senate, and enough detestable RINOS will vote with the demons to remove DJT from office.

I don’t care one way or the other as long as a Democrat doesn’t take that seat. Since both Daines and Trump endorse him, I’m confident he will win.

Green Pages showing only 2 Republicns besides Steven Daines. The three dems combined have raised less than $200,000. Enough for a good blowout party.

Daines has a $3 million war chest to hand over to the new guy.
