Saudi Arabia’s said on Sunday that it condemned and denounced in the “strongest terms the blatant Iranian aggression” on Oman, adding that it was a “flagrant violation” to Oman’s sovereignty.
“The Kingdom further affirms its readiness to place all its capabilities at Oman’s disposal in support of any measures it may undertake,” the Saudi foreign ministry said in a statement on X.

Saudi Arabia warned of “the serious consequences of Iran’s continued violations of states’ sovereignty” in a manner that undermines the region’s stability and security.
“The Kingdom calls on the international community to take firm positions and decisive measures against Iranian violations.”
Earlier on Sunday, drones targeted an Omani port, injuring one worker, official media said on Sunday, marking the first attack on the sultanate -- which has mediated US-Iran talks -- since Tehran began its retaliation campaign in the Gulf.
“A security source reported that the commercial port of Duqm was targeted by two drones. One drone struck a mobile workers’ accommodation, injuring one foreign worker, while debris from the other landed near fuel tanks, causing no casualties or material damage,” the Oman News Agency said in a post on X.

Oman hosted negotiations between the US and Iran to give Iran a way out...and Iran attacked them anyway.
Iran also attacked the several ME nations that barred the US from attacking Iran from their territory or airspace. A lot of good it did these nations.

I am surprised that they attacked Oman.
Oman has been studiously neutral for decades. It is also neither Sunni nor Shia but Ibadi.
This attack is sheer desperation - like Argentina attacking Costa Rica in 1982
