A crash on the Capital Beltway ended in a deadly road rage incident where police say one woman was killed, three others were wounded and a dog was stabbed to death Sunday afternoon in Annandale, Virginia.

A man later identified as Jared Llamado, 32, of McLean, was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police said the trooper shot in self-defense after Llamado confronted him with a knife.

He also killed a dog that was with the women; it appears that there was a man driving the car. There has been no speculation over motive, whether Llamado knew these people, worked with them or they were total strangers. Awful under any circumstances.

Odd that two authors listed for this rather short story.

The mini bio for the second one indicates she’s from Sputnik news, which is syndicated Russian propaganda. I’ve heard Sputnik radio carried on some US stations. They indicate they have registered w/the state department appropriately as part of their station identification.

So maybe that was the one that added the woke styled non-terrorism clarification

One woman and her dog were intended victims, another woman stabbed trying to stop the perp from killing the victim. News didn't release any info yesterday except "not terrorism, just a woman and her dog getting killed by a random knifer". The beltway carries plenty of losers and freaks but this particular case seems a bit more than the ordinary road rage.
