Donald Trump will not rule out putting troops on the ground in Iran while warning that the next 'big wave' of strikes is impending.
The President said on Monday that he would allow for US service members to enter Iran 'if they were necessary.'

Yup. In a conflict all options are on the table.
Agreed.
Those who “stand on principle” and expect leaders to be bound by every word they’ve ever uttered need to understand:
- Good leaders adapt to changing circumstances
- Good leaders pursue the right strategic goals regardless of polls, public opinion, or threats of electoral retaliation
- Trump is a good leader.
IDF boots? Or just us like last time?
Why would anyone tell the enemy we have some red line we won’t cross in our efforts to beat them? Even if you have some internal line you have decided you won’t cross, you don’t let your enemy know that.
People still think it’s still the Obama Administration.

He wouldn’t have gotten this involved if he hadn’t considered this necessary. I am not shocked by this statement.
Trump exhausted all other options for Iran before this. He tried to find a peaceful resolution, but the Iranians Mullahs emboldened by years of American idle threats, continued to push the other direction.

A good idea to be ambiguous about possible US military personnel in Iran.
It depends what they would be doing.
And most importantly, once deployed, it depends if there are US casualties.
Really depends on the objective on doing so.
Of course it’s a war.

Hopefully boots on the ground in any significant way will be unnecessary. We need our military to be able to take care of business remotely. I know we are working towards that goal.

I didn't vote to see troops on the ground anywhere other the blue urban s***holes of America.
That said if there are clear MILITARY objectives that can be achieved rather quickly, I will acquiesce.
We've LOST every major military operation since WWII because we entered conflicts attempting to replace clear MILITARY objectives with unclear stupid ass political objectives ie nation building.
MAGA as well as history will judge Trump's decision to go into Iran on the DURATION of our active participation, little else.
Considering the real possibility of a nuclear strike on America by the shi’te heads formerly in power in Iran, this was needed.
They didn’t get the memo last year, so now it’s permanent.
Makes more sense to me then Nabbing Maduro did.
I support sending in 100%. Eliminating the Iranian regime is a history changing cause. And before anybody says, why don’t you go over there- been there done that
