You don’t need to have the Senate in session for a dog parade. You do need to have the Senate MAJORITY in session for a vote of any kind.
With this event, Tillis and Thune make their fraternity house more closely resemble Delta Tau Chi (think "Animal House" - John Belushi) than "Skull and Bones" or "Porcellian Club" which they usually emulate.
Thune is turning out to be no better than McConnell — a weak, deep state, lying SOB more concerned with Senate BS rules than with the health of the country.
He’s always been human garbage as evidenced by his election to Majority Leader by his constituents of human garbage. Tillis is a lame duck traitor and he’s running the Senate.

I read that they were going to attempt another reconciliation bill and are trying to attach it to that bill.

When Trump invited the Democrats to stand at the SOTU is was on non-political issues that everyone would normally support.
