At least 10 FBI employees were fired after working on the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case, according to a news report Friday.
The firings occurred after news broke on Wednesday that the FBI obtained phone records for now-director Kash Patel during the Biden administration in 2022, and current White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles' phone records in 2023, while they were both private citizens.
“It is outrageous and deeply alarming that the previous FBI leadership secretly subpoenaed my own phone records – along with those of now White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles – using flimsy pretexts and burying the entire process in prohibited case files designed to evade all oversight,” Patel said.

AN OUTRAGE: The Biden FBI obtained phone records for Kash Patel in 2022, and current White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles’ phone records in 2023, while they were both private citizens.
Which you could certainly have added to the other thread.
I worked on this thread all day... I didn’t know about the other posting - and I looked. Lighten up!
Bkmk
it sure would be a lot of fun if any of these miscreants were foolish enough to sue!
Frankly I think prosecutions would have been better than just firings. These corrupt people, including two FBI Directors and an Attorney General, committed crimes against the Republic and should face serious charges.
I know the Demo'Rat Party 🐀 will start burning cities. I don't know why that 'party' is still considered a legal political organ - they openly stand for anarchy and sedition.
***FBI Director Patel has been under fire for his partying with the American men's hockey team***
Not really. Everyone with Trump is 'under fire' for breathing in and out. ho hum
***when so many Democratic politicians and leftists in the Federal agencies go unindicted, it gives the wrong impression***
I see your point, but I like that he had a little 'spree'; if he must, let him reimburse the govt for expenses. The Dems have put him through H3ll for years because he has been a top investigator of their crimes... he worked with Devin Nunes on the House Intel Committee exposing Russia Gate - and all either of them got for great work was dismissed.
😂 'Full disclosure' and all of that.
The FBI Agents Association, which represents current and former agents, criticized the firings, saying they violate employees' due process rights. No indication is any official action will be taken. 🤷♂️"These actions weaken the Bureau by stripping away critical expertise and destabilizing the workforce, undermining trust in leadership and jeopardizing the Bureau's ability to meet its recruitment goals—ultimately putting the nation at greater risk," the association said.
