The Problem With Feminising Society - Helen Andrews (the root cause of Wokeness–great, if long video–1:04:24)

Core Thesis of this video: Wokeness is a Product of Institutional Feminization

Wokeness isn't primarily an ideology (e.g., Marxism or post-modernism) that can be defeated with better arguments. Instead, it's the application of traditionally feminine patterns of behavior and group dynamics to institutions that recently became majority-female (or close to it). Women tend to prioritize consensus, relationships, empathy, making everyone happy, and avoiding conflict/hurt feelings over strict facts, rules, justice, or open confrontation. This leads to conformity-focused environments intolerant of dissent, prickly eccentrics, or debate—hallmarks of "woke" dynamics like cancellations, offense-taking, and reputation destruction rather than rational argument.

Timing and Evidence of Demographic Shift (per the video)

Many key institutions tipped to majority-female around 2016–2020, coinciding with the rise of peak wokeness (e.g., 2020 summer events).

Examples include:

Feminine vs. Masculine Conflict Styles

Women (on average, in group settings) handle conflict more indirectly/reputationally (e.g., social exclusion, gossip, "words are violence," shaming). Men tolerate direct/open conflict more. Playground studies show girls report as many fights as boys, but observers miss them because they're relational ("she said she won't be my friend"). Wokeness weaponizes caring/empathy: frame issues as protecting "helpless" groups (minorities as "babies"), and it gains traction.

Note: I used Grok to help me summarize this video. There are many more points in the video than included in this brief summary.

I still maintain the 19th amendment was one of the worse things to ever happen to America. My wife absolutely HATEs that I believe that.

A husbands primary role is to provide shelter, security and stability in the relationship. The wife must manage her emotional happiness from within this arrangement.

Modern women now expect the man to become their therapist. It’s not enough that the man is grounded in his beliefs and provides creature comforts. Now he also has to be a servant to her emotions. But by doing so, he becomes a Simp and eventually loses her respect which results in her seeking the bad boy Tyrone.

For this reason, feminist (along with social media) have utterly destroyed healthy relationships.

Warning to men: NEVER GET MARRIED! You will lose everything. They are simply not worth it.

Real men provide shelter, security and stability... Real women have no problem with that and many contribute heavily and are often the bread winners... nothing wrong with that either but real men still provide the security. Both contribute to the family and kids.

Leftist men want to be women and leftist women are are just bizarre freaks.

Interesting in that the ancients used the word ‘hysteria” to describe the more extreme manifestations. ‘Hyster’, from Greek for the womb.

I believe that this discussion misses an important element: women have certainly changed the culture but gays have hijacked it. Gays are the ones pushing the current woke movement to accept wholeheartedly every weird part of their strange culture to make all of us accept it - including mutilating our children.

If you doubt that, just watch what happens if you oppose it. You may even get your school shot up.

The Summers cancellation has parallels, resonances, with the James Damore event at Google. Both cases where woke feminazis cancelled people who were standing on firm scientific ground. Facts, logic, rational thought don’t matter to emotional feminazis in power, is the lesson.

The West is built on masculine rationality in science, military, foreign affairs, etc. We let this continue at our peril.

The problem with this thesis is that the poison was evident in males decades ago. I was in college in the 90s, and it was male professors introducing absolutely nonsensical texts for us to read (also written by men) and shutting down debate when students with any common sense pushed back. Marxism is not a feminine development. Men brought this tide in.

Yes. The video should have included effeminate men as part of the problem.

The difference is that it was never really seen as a problem when it was confined to academia. That’s because academia is one of the only institutions in the modern world where failure is not considered a flaw.

Encroaching Marxism has always been a problem. If you can only “see” it once women are involved, that says a lot about men indeed.

I have seen this before. It is a superlative video on a sensitive subject (especially for many women) but I believe it is spot on.

That video isn't blaming women as such. It is pointing to "feminization" as a broader societal and institutional phenomenon—specifically, the application of stereotypically feminine behavioral patterns (e.g., consensus-seeking, empathy prioritization, relational conflict resolution, and aversion to open disagreement) to professional environments that have recently become majority-female or female-dominated in dynamics.

In the video, Helen Andrews explicitly clarifies that she's not blaming women as individuals or suggesting they're inherently problematic.

Marxism as such is based on a foundation of these stereotypical feminine behavioral patterns (i.e., DEI/victimhood over merit, emotions over logic). These patterns aren't dominant in all women. In fact, they seem to be dominant only in Leftist women.
