Cartel warfare has threatened to spill into California as a Mexican border city was engulfed in violence following the killing of a notorious drug kingpin.
Suspected narco-terrorists torched vehicles at the border wall in Tijuana, a stone’s throw from San Diego, set up roadblocks and targeted local businesses on Monday.
Haunting footage showed a major highway that runs parallel to the United States completely shut down while cops cautiously inspected a burning car.
Violence has also spread farther up the west coast, with local media reports detailing attacks in parts of Baja California and as close to the US as Tijuana.
Reporter Jorge Ventura shared a terrifying view of the city on Monday, showing multiple cars had been torched within sight of the border wall.
In one clip, a burned-out vehicle with its trunk open was surrounded by armed Mexican soldiers just feet away from the towering fence.
Tijuana is a major border crossing between California and Mexico, with around 200,000 passing through San Ysidro and Otay Mesa every day, around 50 million a year.
US Customs and Border Protection confirmed on Monday all entrances to the country in the Southwest are still “open and fully operational” and “there are no planned closures.”

Yes please do Cartels, openly attack over the US border. I am pretty sure that will end all of our Mexican issue in about 6 months after that.
If the violence spills over into the US, I suspect that all bets are off, and the US military will be called in to put a complete stop to it.
Trump and Hegseth need to send some combat teams down there stat.
Preferably ones with itchy trigger fingers.
Is there anyone in the Democrat Party who looks at this and thinks “Wow, an unstable organized crime-controlled Third World nation is right on our southern border”?
Do any of them really think they are immune to the consequences of having this nasty s*** show on our border?
Just in time for Newsom to take a 2 week vacation
For those unfamiliar with Tijuana, the main highway after you cross the border runs right next to. the border wall for a few miles. Haven’t seen it for years but it used to be tall, but lightly constructed with lots of holes dug under it. There was and likely is a much more robust wall several yards behind it on the American side.
Maybe burning down Beverly Hills will get their attention. But I doubt it. Liberalism is a mental disease.
No way.
unstable, organized crime-controlled, Third World
Describes California.
The First Cavalry Division is at Fort Hood TX. They have lots of helicopters and armored vehicles. I suspect it wouldn't take them long to get to the border, or cross it, if ordered to do so.
And, there are leftists in the US who will try to prevent the US taking any action against the cartels - in the US or Mexico.
As it were:
“El Mencho” was first arrested in 1986 at age 19 in San Francisco for selling drugs and carrying a gun, leading to his initial deportation.
In 1989, he was arrested again in San Francisco for narcotics trafficking and deported.
His final U.S. arrest occurred in 1992, when he was caught in a heroin deal with undercover officers in San Francisco. After pleading guilty to protect his brother, he served three years in prison and was deported a second time.”
Deported three times from the US and he was still able to repeatedly return.
Hopefully, at this moment, the US military is gathering intel on who what when and where for use when it becomes necessary.
“If the violence spills over into the US, I suspect that all bets are off, and the US military will be called in to put a complete stop to it.”
This opens up a real quandary. Trump cannot send in the US troops unless the governor of California requests them. After all, until it is established that Mexico is at war with the US, it is considered a criminal act of the cartels and doesn’t fall within the insurgency definition. So even if he wants to, legally Trump can’t just send in troops.
And this is reverse of what has been happening when the governors of different states have denied Trump coming in to help and why ICE has been ham strung. And if they are brought in to capture and imprison illegals that are committing crimes as that’s all they can be called, then the game totally changes.
Be quite interesting how Newsom is going to handle this. If he request assistance, then he is determining the cartels to be criminal in action and he will have to support Trump to come in and bail his wrinkled azz out.

Where’s “Black Jack” Pershing when you need him?

Actually, the Democrats invited the cartels in and have been protecting them in return for cartel money and influence. The Cartels have been trying to replicate their de facto takeover of the Mexican government here in the US.
Not true, an easy case can be made the Mexican government is failed and the Cartels are the state actors, that makes it an invasion of factional state element and Trump can respond to repel accordingly.
Trump can do so and has 60 days (90 if you count the allotted time added for withdrawal) to perform any such action without congress approval, all he needs to do is tell them within 48 hours after the action starts.
IMHO leftists fear only whites who aren't indoctrinated in leftism. The racism of leftists render them incapable of perceiving the consequences of a violent cartel if the cartel is Hispanic. Much like leftists don't know to fear violent Muslims, even after they've taken over much of Minnesomalia. The leftists' racism is like a religion that shapes their worldview of who they perceive to be a threat to their power. To them, the threat to their power can come from only whites who aren't fellow leftists.
