Déjà vu. A new Palestinian security force is set to operate under the National Committee for Gaza Management (NCAG) and will receive training in Egypt, as part of a broader plan to stabilize the Gaza Strip.
Simultaneously, an international stabilization force is expected to deploy across five sectors, eventually reaching around 20,000 troops, alongside a civilian policing force of up to 12,000 personnel, according to Idan Kowler’s report on Walla.
Under the plan, all weapons in Gaza would be centralized under a new civilian authority as part of a full disarmament process, a prerequisite for reconstruction.

The establishment of Palestine is recognized by the UN, but not other countries within it. So Gaza is still owned by Israel and just because they allow it to run itself doesn’t take their ownership away.
In 1993, the PLO signed the Oslo Accords with Israel, creating limited PLO governance in the West Bank and Gaza Strip through the Palestinian Authority (PA). Israel withdrew from Gaza in its unilateral disengagement in 2005, but the territory is still considered to be under military occupation and has been blockaded by Israel. Hamas took over in 2007 and Israel let it happen as they were willing to concede concessions to the terrorist group. And I think foolishly as we can see what has transpired now. This is why the US doesn’t bend to terrorist groups.

It was bad enough when the lunatic Rabin gave the PA guns. But Israel should not allow ANY Islamic armies or police in Gaza. Not a single one.
