15 will get you 20.
If he’s a Democrat he has nothing to worry about. A sternly worded letter will do...
Why the long face?
Kentucky, as evidenced by Rand Paul and Tom Massie, has some serious mental problems.
As with all these cases I do agree investigation to be thorough, but the guilty punished severely for violating trust.
Of course he did. Isn’t this what pastors and teachers do nowadays? Isn’t this why some take that career path?
If only pastors could get married.
You forgot Mitch McConnell.
If only.
Yes, I did. How can anyone forget that sold-out traitor?
100% agree.
On the flip side, I know a guy who was a pastor at a church. He was accused of unspeakable acts done to a minor relative. He was removed from all activities at the church. Oddly the relative chose not to press charges.
An independent investigative agency did a deep dive into this, (without his knowledge or request). The investigator and I had a long talk. He told me that in twenty years of investigating sex crimes and trafficking, he’s never before concluded that the suspect was completely and totally innocent before.
Even though I don’t know the suspect well, it’s more of a professional relationship, I’m doing everything I can to help him get his reputation back.
oh, no! Not a pastor.
Yup. He couldn’t get Past her.
Gotta’ be removed from service to the church. Too bad, but the church of Jesus the Christ cannot have people who act out on their sinful urges maintain a position of authority. He can be forgiven. He can be spiritually restored. But he will need a long time history of faithfulness before he can be trusted again.
But the article says he admitted it: Rodgers’ arrest citation says he admitted to the allegations during an interview with police.
oh I agree they are the worst.
My bro in law is a deacon at his church and would and has screwed anything in a dress, whether he was married or not ( he was)
BUT he a holy man. Can’t have both.
Christians have the same struggles as everyone else. The smart ones know how to avoid temptations.
LOL!
The article doesn't mention gender, so maybe not. It does say “He was in charge of leading the worship ministry and creative arts.”
and in before some jackhole asks what was she wearing to tempt him?
