Buffalo Wild Wings can keep calling its menu item "boneless wings," a federal judge ruled Tuesday, dismissing a lawsuit that claimed the name amounted to false advertising.
U.S. District Judge John Tharp in Illinois issued a 10-page ruling allowing the sports bar chain to continue calling its menu item "boneless wings," after a Chicago man filed a lawsuit accusing the restaurant of false advertising, saying the boneless wings were overpriced because they are essentially chicken nuggets.
While Aimen Halim argued in the lawsuit that Buffalo Wild Wings should call the product something different, like "chicken poppers," Tharp said the argument had no meat on its bones.
"Halim did not 'drum' up enough factual allegations to state a claim," Tharp wrote. "Though he has standing to bring the claim because he plausibly alleged economic injury, he does not plausibly allege that reasonable consumers are fooled by BWW’s use of the term 'boneless wings.'"

Now the Milky Way is aware that Aimen doesn’t know what a boneless wing is.
The judge specifically said in his ruling that no consumer would reasonably expect actual “chicken fingers” on a menu that was selling chicken fingers.
“Boneless wings” are a menu item all over.
This idiot was obviously looking for a payday and should be required to reimburse BW3 for their legal fees.

Too bad the plaintiff wasn’t under a deportation order, otherwise he would have won the case.

The judge had a little fun with this one.
1. How many illegals could have been deported in Chicago if the court time was not used up in this silly lawsuit, and
2. Is the plaintiff in this country legally? With a name like that, there is probably a 50% chance that he isn't.
3. More generally, how does an illegal alien get "standing" in an American court if an American can't get "Standing" in any lawsuit asking if any election is fair and accurate?
I just started getting wings from them...And Disagree...I always thought they were actual boneless wings. Why would I think otherwise?? It is deceptive. Their fries are the best.
