Bill Maher told CNN that President Trump routinely “yells” at him via text for remaining a part of the “lunatic left” following their buddy-buddy dinner at the White House last year.
The host of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” – who faced heated backlash from leftist viewers for dining with the president last April – laughed when CNN’s Elex Michaelson asked about his relationship with Trump in an interview posted to YouTube Saturday.
When asked whether Trump texts him, Maher exclaimed: “Yes, yelling at me!”

Why is Bill Maher “a thing”?
Mahre has a sharp wit. He can sting and leave his opponents defenseless so he throws us a bone from time to time.
If Bill’s still supporting the democrats that are doing nothing but ripping us off then there’s something very wrong with him. He’s been shown more than enough evidence to know this is true.
About a year ago I listened to the Joe Rogan podcast when he had Maher on.
After around 20 minutes I had to turn it off.
He started out pretty rational but as soon as the subject moved to DJT he turned in to the unhinged nasty liberal we all suspect he is.
Don’t let that little weasel fool you, he’s as hateful and despicable as the rest of ‘em.....if not more even.
The break between Musk and Trump was apparently planned. When Musk hinted about Epstein and Trump it goaded them into releasing the files. The trap worked. Perhaps something similar going on with Maher

I think Maher is nasty and Trump is pointing it out. He invited himself in for nothing other than to come out and gossip. Just nasty.
Bill wants to keep his job, so he has to tow the liberal line most of the time.

Haven’t had or watched a TV for decades. But good for you. Pretty much by definition you can’t yell at the TV if you don’t have one, and of course Trump is a big TV guy.
Maybe I’m one of the few people on here who likes to listen to Maher. He just did a podcast interview with Adam Carolla that was pretty good. Does he have some uninformed, knee-jerk opinions about Trump? Most definitely yes. But he is an old school Democrat who has not moved his opinion since the 1990s. That makes him a “conservative” in the eyes of the Woke Left. The irony is that Maher and Trump probalby had very similar political opinions in the 1990s and voted the same way. They both were shoved right by the Woke Left.
Maher is a legend only in his own mind.
None of the ones I know do-TV is not the center of their universe. Where do you live that they do?...
Maher is frequently quite funny
