Disney's live-action Snow White has reportedly flopped - with the woke rebrand costing the company a staggering $170 million loss.
The fairy-tale epic, led by 'progressive' Rachel Zegler, came with a jaw-dropping $336.5 million production price tag.
But the film brought in just $87.3 million during its May 2025 opening weekend and went on to earn a total of $205.7 million, per Forbes.
This live action princess movie now ranks as the fifth-lowest grossing among the 21 live-action remakes produced by The Walt Disney Company, per the outlet.
Alongside its financial flop, the classic faced backlash over changes made to make it more 'progressive.'
As filming took off in 2022, Zegler labeled Prince Charming a 'stalker' and described the animated classic as 'extremely dated' in its portrayal of women in positions of power.
Prominent critics weren’t impressed either, with Peter Dinklage blasting the Mickey Mouse corporation for creating a 'f***ing backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together.'

What came first? Are dumb jerks attracted to acting or does acting turn people in to dumb jerks?
Rather ask, "Is Disney box office poison?" This is hardly the first bomb that exploded over their stock price... 'The Alamo' is the first one that comes to my mind... Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.
Then there was Disney's battle with Florida Governor, Ron Desantis, over Disney's right to push for popular acceptance of child corruption and mutilation. They actually thought that their historical reputation would help them carry the day.
I suspect that we will see Disney carry on with their immoral agenda of brainwashing children. 🤷
Peter Dinklage just hates competition. If they had cast him as all 7 dwarves he would have out there singing Disney’s praises about how they are giving “exposure” to little people.
Bialystok & Bloom would be jealous of such a flop.
It just looked bad. And when the YouTube reviewer got a hold of it the fun really started.
They were originally going to make it one way (the multi-ethnic magical creatures plot line) and the people who saw it asked "where are the dwarves? We want the dwarves." So they shoehorned in a plot line that included the dwarves but not real dwarves, cruddy CGI which looked horrible and turned Snow White from a mother figure to the demanding girl friend from hell.
It was not just that it was woke. It was just bad.
Dinklage, apparently, cannot tell the difference between fairytale characters like dwarves and his own condition of dwarfism. What did he think of Lord of the Rings, I wonder? Is he going to lobby on behalf of the dwarves of the Misty Mountains to regain their rightful home of Khazad-dum from the Balrog?
It’s like the harder they try not to be offensive to certain groups, the more offensive they become to every other group, all while ruining the very thing they set out to do.
