Kentucky’s governor appeared twice on television screens across the nation on Monday.
After calling for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's firing on ABC’s “The View,” Gov. Andy Beshear (D-Ky.) joined late-night host Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show.”
During his nearly 20-minute interview with Stewart, Beshear faced questions about his political future as he has been considered a potential contender for the Democratic party’s presidential nomination in 2028.
Beshear has previously said the next president should be a governor, so Stewart asked directly which governor would be the best.
As Beshear threw his hands up to look at the audience, the late-night host tweaked his question.
“We’ll take the converse, who’s the worst one?” Stewart asked, joking, “Who’s the one where, like, you guys are at the governor’s conference and the elevator opens, and he’s about to walk in, and you just go – or she – and you just go, oh ****.”
After a brief pause, Beshear responded: “Ron DeSantis.”
But his quick jab at Florida’s Republican governor wasn’t the only one thrown at a previous GOP presidential candidate.

everybody is under the assumption the lefts hate only extends to DJT.
That is their focus now.......we will see the same for next republican candidate or elected president.
They will create another reason to attack and the whole cycle will start over again.

Remember when Jeb Bush said that Trump couldn’t insult his way to the presidency? And Trump beat Jeb and won the presidency anyway. Not just because of the killer insults but also his substantive policies. Now Beshear, Newsom, and other Dumbocrats appears to be trying to copy Trump’s strategy but all they understand is the insults. They can’t reproduce the policies or conceive better ones because the party has drifted insanely to the left. I’m hoping their simplistic understanding and ham-fisted execution will be their undoing in 2026 and 2028.
What is with Kentucky? Is someone sneaking west coast water in to the bourbon distilleries?
Anyone with an R by their name will get the same hate from the DNC and their media whores. Doesn’t matter who. President Trump is just the current “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” (Rule 13 from Satan’s disciple Alinsky.)
They are already ramping up the hate for Vance.
I don’t know of a right-leaning host who would ask a Republican governor who is the Democrat governor they hate the most. If asked I doubt they would answer the question. The hatred is real. And dangerous.
Beshear cultivates this Mr. Rogers Nice Guy persona and moderates his tone most of the time but he’s as mean and nasty as any other bomb-throwing Democrat when he speaks candidly.
Being a Democrat & considering what he has said doesn’t count for much in my book.
He’s as far left as any Democrat. Always has been. He campaigned totally generically and it worked. “Kentucky values” “working hard for us”, etc.
