Guests must be over the age of 16. All attendees need a government-issued photo ID for entry; the person who reserved the tickets must have a government-issued ID with a name matching the reservation to claim the tickets.
This show is virtually always sold out (meaning ticket requests are all booked) well in advance, and it is impossible to get day-of-show tickets. You must plan well ahead if you want to see Colbert live.
Location
The show tapes nightly at the Ed Sullivan Theater at 1697 Broadway, between 53rd and 54th streets. The closest subways are the N/Q/R trains to the 57th/7th Avenue stop and the B/D/E trains to the 7th Avenue stop.
This could prove the demonicRATS’ point.
Somebody should monitor how few people of color even show up.
It’s (D)ifferent for Colbert. His show is way more important than national elections.
I needed to show a drivers license when I picked up an order I had placed online at Ace Hardware. And then I had to sign my name in 2 places on their paperwork. This was for a pair of steel truckbed ramp brackets worth around thirty bucks. This is insane. Meanwhile, the U.S. Congress is up in arms refusing to pass the SAFE Act, verifying voters are in fact U.S. citizens, its just so burdensome for people to have to do that. It’s nice to know that our votes are worth less than a thirty-dollar purchase at a hardware store.
Same with Cabela’s.
He doesn’t want to let in people with unsuitable views, who would be incompatible with the culture of his show.
Sort of like the country at large except his tiny little brain has not realized that fact. Perhaps a guest will tell him (yeah right Pete, a guest he selected from a list of like-minded individuals, sure they will tell him right away).
I guess a spot for a comedy show is going to open up soon so I should practice being funny. I will invite all of you to be my guests and we can have a conservative echo chamber the polar opposite of Colbert’s show.

Does it have to be my government issued photo ID or could I bring anyone’s? Does it have to be a current government photo ID or can I bring the expired DL that I had when I was 16?

There is a list of ~40 benign things you’re supposed to show ID for. One of them is video games that are rated M for Mature.
Well, if it weren’t for double standards, the leftturds would have no standards at all.
Since Colbert and the Democrats oppose Voter ID because “black people often don’t have government issued ID”, its apparent Colbert doesn’t want black people at his event.
Democrat racism on display once again.
I’ll consider myself disenfranchised.
This allows them to do a deep dive background check on the person who orders the tickets. So that person would need to pass the suitable views test.
