Who here sincerely believes Musk cares about everyday Americans?
I think he takes that into consideration but it’s not the #1 factor.
Prediction: Musk will be first to colonize the moon before he moves on to Mars.
A gigawatt is a measure of electrical power. It might be how much power this data center will consume, and that is serious business. But a watt is a measure of power.
Do we still measure AI computing in FLOPs, FLOating Point operations, like we did “supercompters”?
Anyway, watts does not do it.
If it pisses off the NAACP and the eco-nuts, then I’m 100% for it.
The NAACP and SPLC have met their match in my opinion. Elon will kick their ass over the moon like he just did the EU.

I wouldn’t put that massive investment anywhere near that area. Data centers in space would be better.
Such a datacenter costs more than an aircraft carrier.

From things he has said, he know the US is the last bastion of freedom in the world otherwise he would be living and working elsewhere. He also has spoken out about falling White birth rates and replacement immigration.
I sincerely believe he does care about everyday Americans and he wants what's best for them.
I do. His whole life has been working towards expanding civilization off planet. H-bombs have been around since the 50's. He is almost in a race to get some people off planet for that awful day when nuclear war actually occurs .

Realistically, at this point the West is going to cease to exist, maybe by 2050.
