A grand jury has refused to indict several former military and intelligence lawmakers who made a video urging military members to disobey illegal orders, according to multiple reports.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, under Jeanine Pirro, sought an indictment related to a video featuring six U.S. lawmakers, including Sens. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ). It was not immediately clear which of the lawmakers were targeted in the failed indictment, according to the New York Times and NBC News.

I’ve been in a jag lately where I have to say as once in the Clinton days:
Almost all the national news is bad news and often very bad news.
Judges are doing Satan’s work energetically and efficiently.
Grand juries are normally made up with airheads and blowhards. All wanting to “send political messages” to somebody.
Bummer!
A DC grand jury, big surprise. All DC cases should be sent to fly-over jurisdictions.
Wasn’t there a leftist group funding workshops encouraging activists to interfere with the judicial process by training these people to engage in jury nullification?
Coming out of DC a long time demoncRAT stronghold, not surprising.
The DC courts must be eliminated.
Every day it becomes apparent that a hot civil war is in our future. The left should be careful what they wish for.
DC grand jury wouldn’t indict a Ham Sandwich assault either
They committed sedition everywhere. Seems whoever decided to file this in DC was trying to tank the case.
🔝🔝🔝
When are these fools going to learn the DC courts are extensions of the Communist/Democrat party - partly because of Roberts and Johnson and Thune doing nothing about them.
The GOP can’t win cases there.
Can’t they seat a grand jury anywhere else BUT DC?!
Ever been on one?
I have. Politics and “sending a message” isn’t the mindset of 24 people stuck in the same room for three months. The only “message” we sent was to the DA when they tried us to indict people on shitty evidence—or when they had a clear bias.
Of all the things in this country I trust, it’s the Grand Jury. When the DA fails to get a true bill, you know the case sucks.
Evidently Pirro could not get a Grand Jury to buy the case argument.
That may be true where you live but DC is like 95 percent Democrat.
RE: juries.
Yes.
After three trial days of well crafted technical explanations in the OJ trial where they explained the millions and millions of odds against anyone but OJ having his exact dna left that incriminated him at the crime scenes, one of the women jurors was later taken off the jury to be replaced by an alternate.
She said to the media about the dna: “They didn’t show me nothin’. Nothin’ at all. There are lots of people walking around with same blood type as OJ has.”
I respect you as a person contributing here since 1998 and thank you for your contributions.
No, unlike you I was never on a jury.
Side note: If they are selected from a random dip into voter records and so on, how did a woman at work and my own mother get called to serve on three different juries? Against the odds.
I couldn’t stand to watch the series Bull with the NCIS actor about the corporation selling the service of juror selection.
And the couple of Runaway Jury and other movies.
The thought of the faults of humans put on juries used to divert justice into injustice is abhorrent to me.
I thought that Mark Kelly Was subject to military discipline.
