It's all connected. I don't just mean in the sense that the various degenerates and perverts who afflict our world all seem reminiscent of similar degenerates and perverts on other continents: Thus the son of the Crown Princess of Norway, presently on trial in Oslo for the rapes of four women, comes across merely as this season's Hunter Biden, albeit considerably less lavishly remunerated and without (yet) a short-lived artistic pre-eminence. But, more parochially, I am thinking of the reflections - through a glass, darkly - of the wretched headlines in this little website's above-mentioned musical content. Thus, a famous song by the late Alan and Marilyn Bergman:

Do we ever reach the last tunnel? The final cavern? I think one can take it as read that there the sun has never shone. And, should one ever locate it, is it just an outpost of Philip K Dick's Simulacra? Or the Hollywood Matrix trannies' simulacra? Or is the tranny simulacrum just a simulacrum of the Dick simulacrum, and vice-versa?

The most depressing Steyn article I’ve read. Steyn usually finds a way to express the worst in the most upbeat fashion. Not this time.

That sad little monster is just a symptom of a problem that is so much worse. He’s small time. A wannabe. If you go to Mark’s site to read the whole article (and no annoying pop-ups or videos) you’ll discover the UK (and the West generally) is being led into an abyss by “perverts and Muslims” who’ve been worming their way both insidiously and “in plain sight” for decades.
I red him only when he pops up on FR. But, yes his perspective seems to have darkened.
