Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have prepared a draft defence agreement after nearly a year of talks, Pakistan's Minister for Defence Production said, a signal they could be seeking a bulwark against a flare-up of regional violence in the last two years.

Raza Hayat Harraj told Reuters on Wednesday the potential deal between the three regional powers was separate from a bilateral Saudi-Pakistani accord announced last year. A final consensus between the three states is needed to complete the deal, he said.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

With iran's diminishment, there seem to be two camps being created:

the Turkey-Saudi-Pakistan coalition

the Israel-UAE-India coalition

the Saudi “family” dictatorship throwing in with the evil Turkish regime and Pakistan -— reveals what has (actually) been clear for quite some time, Saudi cannot be trusted ... it is still very much a radical Wahabbi Islamicist regime no matter that they wear modern suits and have some capable spokesmen - apologists

Which leads to my point that the main reason the US better not leave NATO is that the Turks will take it over, if we do leave.

Puts the protection of Pakistan’s nukes in “defense” (or use) of the Turks (Erdogan) and the Saudis.

NATO is already so compromised it is better to get out and quit letting money go to nations that are enemies of US.

Turkish manpower and strategic positioning, Pakistani nukes, backed by Saudi money

Against

Indian manpower, UAE strategic positioning, and Israeli nukes, backed by American money

What could go wrong?

Sunni Turkey and Pakistan both border Shi’ite Iran (NW and SE of Iran), and both have larger ground Armies than Iran.

Neither of them, nor Saudi Arabia, want to have to live with a nuclear-armed Iranian Theocratic dictatorship, whose doctrine is that bringing about the final end of the world conflict, is a good thing.

So why can’t they take out Iran instead of us and Israel?

Pakistan does not have a functioning government in the way we understand it. There are large areas that have been in various states of rebellion for decades and that’s currently turning into a hot war. Pakistan is a collection of, call them “agents” who are in more or less the same orbit but not connected or controlled. There’s the military, the civilian government and the intelligence agency, all of which have their own ideas about where to take Pakistan. Then there are the various racial, cultural and religious groups which are as alien to one another as they can get. The government can make deals and alliances but has limited ability to make things happen. During a recent crisis it was reported the country’s nukes were being ferried around the ground in unmarked vans to keep them from being seized by an American or Indian force.

Turkey is stable because Saudi money has been lent to keep it on an even keel. Saudi is stable so long as they don’t run short on oil and they recently refused to let any independent companies do a survey of what they had left, meaning it probably isn’t as much as they let on. Let one thing tip over to the bad and all three are gone as far as functioning countries.
