NEWS: Dubai is building a 4 mile long @boringcompany loop tunnel with four stations linking the Dubai International Financial Centre and Dubai Mall, with an eventual length of ~14 miles.
Only @Tesla vehicles will be used in the tunnel of course.
"This phase will pave the way for expansion into the full project alignment, which will extend up to ~14 miles and include 19 stations, connecting Dubai World Trade Centre and the financial district with Business Bay."

Boring!
Hard to say why but I’ve always found something kinda cool about the glitz of Dubai. I’ve perused some travel information in the past and it looks like a great place to visit.
Unless I’m reading it all wrong, the UAE seems to like Americans in general. They seem more tolerant that many other Moslem nations. I get the feeling that they’re more interested in making money than making revolution and violence.
The only downside is that it looks like it’s very expensive to be a tourist there - even if one is avoiding the 5-star hotels and restaurants.
Seems to me it’s Vegas on steroids.
