Ilhan Omar has been hit by claims she faked her own attack after Donald Trump declared 'she probably had herself sprayed.'
The Minnesota Democratic Representative, 43, was doused with an unknown vinegar-smelling liquid from a syringe during a town hall event in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
Anthony Kazmierczak, 55 - a Trump supporter who has previously posted anti-Omar comments on social media - was charged with third-degree assault.
But Omar's actions during the attack have sparked theories it was staged, with online sleuths pointing to two supposed inconsistencies.
The first is that the congresswoman's immediate response to the liquid being sprayed on her upper body was to rush towards her assailant with her fist clenched.
'If someone randomly sprayed me with a substance, I'd be running to the nearest bathroom to wash my eyes and skin - or straight to the hospital,' said MAGA comedian Terrence Williams.
The second alleged clue is that Omar 'nodded' at Kazmierczak shortly before the attack, moments after she had called for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to be fired.

This should be investigated to the Nth degree.
Every forensic method should be used to catch the person with the syringe, and get the whole story behind this.
