Transgender patients of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles secured a win this week after the U.S. Department of Justice agreed to end its efforts to obtain personal and medical information of more than 3,000 young patients.

The Doctor/Patient confidentiality privilege is just as deeply established in our law as the Clergy/Penitent privilege, the Attorney/Client privilege, and the Marital Communications privilege between spouses.

In addition, federal HIPPA laws prohibit the release of such information without multiple legal and court hurdles being overcome first.

The hospital should be collecting future medical and mental issues of these patients, but they won’t.

They information can be obtained other ways. Search for billing records for docs known to do those surgeries. Search records for meds, procedures, and pre surgical and post surgical follow ups. Get names of the patients. Connect them with malpractice lawyers and have patients and families request/demand the records from the hospital. The families will inform the government agencies. Then miltiBillion dollar bankrupty inducing lawsuits and payouts.

Gonna’ be interesting to watch the hospital officials explain that they cannot afford to take care of kids anymore as the hospital closes and thousands of employees lose jobs. The SHTF very soon. Many, many innocent children whose parents are here illegally will not get treatment. Don’t blame me.
