ice President JD Vance and conservative influencer Laura Loomer traded jabs on social media Friday after Loomer questioned why Republicans were “pushing more abortion messaging” ahead of the November midterms.
“Why is the GOP pushing more abortion messaging in a midterm election year? Didn’t they learn their lesson in 2018? Loomer wrote on the social platform X on Friday afternoon.
“Trump doesn’t like it when the GOP focuses on abortion,” she added. “How many times does he have to say this?”
“Trump gets it,” Loomer concluded, predicting that the GOP “will blow the midterms.”

There are bigger fish to fry right now than abortion, and besides Dobbs sent it back to the states, pubs at the federal level shouldn’t be talking about it.
Loomer may just be tin-ear on the timing.
The March for Life just happened. Didn’t it? So it makes sense when you look at a calendar and say hey people are talking about abortion right now.
In a week from now, let’s see if it dies down. Can someone send her a calendar? Maybe she doesn’t know about MfL.
I don’t know. Maybe because more babies means more future Americans which we’ll need to prevent islamists from outnumbering us.
They just had to march life. Of course they’re going to talk about abortion.
Loomer likes to throw the “potato mashers” so to speak to what end...
I haven't either, fortunately.
The issue is a vote loser for the GOP.
Looney Loomer trying to get the GOP to downplay Prolife to win elections. She lost the one election she ran in.
The various right to life coalitions still fancy themselves as kingmakers and expect politicians at all levels to bend the knee, kiss the ring, and pledge their support to a federal abortion ban.
As they should. Looney Loomer is totally right on this issue.
I'm tired of losing elections to full-blown, unrepentant communists over this quixotic crusade to prevent mostly unwed black women from aborting their babies.
Loomer, Green, Coulter, etc...Poster child’s for why we never should have given women to the right to vote.
Irrational women, Karen’s, far outweigh the rational women wrt to politics and cultural issues. Their insanity is the driving factor behind most of the political chaos in our country today.
They are the Primary drivers behind the insanity plaguing our society today. Along with Cuck Beta males.
Our country needs to come to grips with this fact, or we are doomed to follow so many other societies into the trash heap of history.
Which elections were lost due to having a pro-life stance?
Did the loosing/losing grammar thing, sorry about that.
President Trump did the work and effort of getting Roe V Wade off the constitution. It now a state issue
To appear and speak at a pro life event for the VP is fine. To campaign on it is out of order. The case is closed
There is a reason the rats get abortion ballot initiatives on November ballots wherever they can. There is an army of selfish single issue women who run to the polls to vote on them then they vote en masse for every Dem on the ballot.
Pence, anti-abortion Republicans denounce Trump-backed RNC platform
The 2024 RNC platform says Republicans support protecting life, oppose late-term abortion, and believe states—not the federal government—should regulate abortion, framing it as a matter of constitutional rights under the 14th Amendment.
So it's up to your state. It's no longer a national issue and we shouldn't talk about it. I agree with Trump on this.
So it’s still an issue, hardly “settled” and “time to move on.”
