Gavin Newsom backtracks on outrageous ICE claims made by his own team.

“Your press office tweeted out that it was state-sponsored terrorism,” Shapiro said, before pushing back on the characterization of federal agents. “Our ICE officers obviously are not terrorists,” Shapiro added. “Yeah, I think that’s fair,” Newsom agreed. The governor also said he “disagreed” that ICE should be abolished.

Newsom also squirmed when Shapiro praised President Trump as the greatest foreign policy president in his lifetime and demanded to know why he wouldn’t “radically” reduce income tax for California

Well, this will be fun to watch unfold.
Greasy Nuisance is slick.
It will unfold with him finding out he just disqualified himself from winning the Democrat presidential primary since they won't tolerate anybody unless they go full mental jacket on ICE. And then he will reverse himself again and denounce ICE as a mortal threat to this country.
It’s a weird case with him and politics in my opinion. All the liberals seem to want him to run, he makes some of the right political moves to appease the bass in California, but doesn’t seem to want to actually run for higher office. Maybe this is a way for him to essentially make sure he’s no longer considered. Basically kind of a coward’s way out.
Newsom will decide that he’s as good as anyone else who’s running and he’ll run too — if he isn’t already running.
