I have a good idea, obey immigration laws.
Fire your HR person if you have any doubts about your audit being clean as a whistle.
First they came for the illegal immigrants, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not an illegal immigrant.
Then they came for the criminals, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a criminal.
Then they came for the Somalis, and I did not speak out— Except to say, Be sure to get rid of all of the Somalis.
Then we all looked around and said, Everything is so much nicer now-
Let’s keep it this way from now on.
Comply with immigration laws.
So, hinder law enforcement and delay the swift apprehension of criminals.
Open door.
Fire HR for doing nothing good, including hiring illegals when citizens are your priority.
Or keep door closed, and fire HR.
Same difference.
I am a lawyer. My advice to you, if you are an employer and ICE comes to your location, is open your files, and cooperate. You best have Social Security cards and I9s on everybody and cooperate with ICE. Be nice.
REFUSING TO FOLLOW USA HIRING RULES CAN COST YOU YOUR JOB-—MAYBE YOUR WHOLE COMPANY...
