Trump touts Massie primary challenger

President Trump touted retired Navy SEAL officer Ed Gallrein, who’s challenging Trump critic Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) in the GOP primary, in a post on his Truth Social platform on Monday, calling his endorsee “A WINNER WHO WILL NOT LET KENTUCKY DOWN!”

“A Brave Combat Veteran, Ed knows the Wisdom and Courage required to Defend our Country, Support our Military/Veterans, and Ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH,” Trump wrote, lauding the retired Navy SEAL as a candidate who “happens to be central casting.”

Trump also noted Gallrein’s recent support for the Trump administration’s military intervention in Venezuela, calling Gallrein a “big fan” of the operation.

The president, whose post included a photo of the two of them in the Oval Office, urged the party to rally around Gallrein, saying he had heard several others might be exploring a potential bid for Massie’s seat.

Trump also lashed out at the Kentucky congressman, describing him as “Third Rate Congressman Thomas Massie, a Weak and Pathetic RINO.”

The local media if fawning over Massie - positive bio profiles, etc. The President making remarks about his marriage a few weeks ago probably greatly helped Massie.

Ed Gallrein for Congress

Born and raised in Kentucky, Ed Gallrein is a fifth-generation farmer whose family has worked the land for over a century. Inspired by President Ronald Reagan, Ed chose a life of service by becoming a Navy SEAL officer. Serving for three decades in uniform, he rose to the rank of Captain, served multiple times on SEAL Team SIX, deploying in Panama, Afghanistan, and Iraq, and earned four Bronze Stars including the Combat Parachute Badge for leadership and actions in a combat zone, along with two Presidential Unit Citations for his unit’s extraordinary heroism against an armed enemy.

Massie is perfect Dem placeholder for a conservative district.
Sure he’s getting lots of legal and illegal Dem money.

Massie is collaborating with Democrat Jim McGovern to get the war powers act solution passed in the House. That kind of congressional usurpation of executive authority isn’t very Conservative, IMO. But Massie’s problem is that he constantly flips to the democrat side on critical votes, like big beautiful bill. He is the kinda guy who backstabs teammates for his own glory.

Even if I liked Massie, I would hoping for him to lose big because I want to see Trump’s endorsement or non endorsement carry some weight. I vote for Republicans because they are closer to what I want than Democrats are but they rarely make me excited like Trump does.

Ed Gallrein easy to call that guy “Ed GallRINO” I’m laughing already.

Tens of millions of dollars will be wasted to take out Massie I know where my money is going this year to Massie other Republicans lose in this scenario.

Susie Wiles told us the POTUS has “an alcoholic personality” and that raging personality is wasting money in a Kentucky congressional district.

IMHO Trump is a raging alcoholic type person his social media posts illustrate that he needs to stop his rage against Massie and others.

“The President making remarks about his marriage a few weeks ago probably greatly helped Massie.”

Well, if a voter does not like Massie, what Trump said, whatever it was, will not drive the voter into Massie’s arms.

“Susie Wiles told us the POTUS has “an alcoholic personality””

Susie Wiles is an idiot for saying that. She should be fired. She was Trump’s campaign manager and is taking bows for Trump’s win, I suppose. That is like a person standing next to a crack shot and taking credit for every bullseye the guy makes.

And I can’t wait to see Massie gone. We don’t need another John McCain, obstructing Republican legislation so that OCare continues to destroy healthcare access in the USA.

You misspelled Thomas’ surname. It is hyphenated. He is married to a woman whose maiden surname was Wholewart.

His legal name is Thomas Massie-Wholewart.

Sorry no sale. No sale on the slurs utilizing Suzie Wiles too. Just keep nursing that Trump hatred. It’s so nourishing.

“raging social media posts”

raging?? Really?

Can you cite me one post that is raging?

Is anger raging?

The Bible says be angry and sin not.

Was Christ raging when he made a whip and drove the moneychangers out of the temple? Was he raging when he called the Pharisees snakes, hipocrites, and fools?
