Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) sent a letter to President Trump on Wednesday inviting him to deliver his State of the Union address to Congress on Feb. 24.
This will be Trump’s first time delivering a State of the Union address in his second term. He delivered remarks to a joint session of Congress in March 2024, though that was not technically considered a State of the Union address.
“As our nation marks the Semiquincentennial Anniversary of American Independence, the United States stands stronger, freer, and more prosperous under your leadership and bold action. Together in 2025, your administration and the 119th Congress delivered one of the most consequential agendas in history, and Americans across this great country will experience the tangible results of commonsense governance,” Johnson wrote in his letter.

I agree. This should be interesting.
Unhinged Democrats. They will take another shot at him from the floor of the House.
March 2025, actually.
I can’t wait for the looks on Thune and Johnson’s faces when President Trump called them slugs for all they HAVEN’T DONE! Also, I want to see the spiral on ChuckU’s chin from his psychotic rage from his terminal TDS.. 😁
Spittal!! (It’s really a word, Apple.) Use in a sentence..
“I want to go to the Spittal of Glenshee!”

That’s sorta what I’m looking forward to as well. I also want Trump to rip them for not passing the SAVE act to require an ID for voting in federal elections.
If they don’t pass a federal funding bill, there won’t be a state of the union speech.
Like years ago and Rush’s medal, betcha Erika Kirk will be there as special guest.
