Dozens are missing after a boat carrying more than 200 migrants on their way to Europe capsized off the coast of Gambia, the West African nation’s leader said late Friday, setting off a frantic search and rescue operation.
At least 102 survivors have been rescued and seven bodies recovered from the boat that capsized on New Year’s Eve in northwest Gambia’s North Bank region, Gambian President Adama Barrow said in a state broadcast. The emergency services were joined by local fishermen and other volunteers in searching for the victims, days after Wednesday’s incident near the village of Jinack, he said.

I don’t blame the migrants here. I blame the European leaders whose foolish decisions make the journey worth the risk.

Thank you Meditteranian sea.
A feel good story.
If you eat at a pricey German, French, Italian, Dutch, or UK restaurant, the waiters may appear European but if you went into the Kitchens almost all the cooks, kitchen staff and maintainance workers are best described as migrants. The hotels are almost totally staffed by such folks. Same is true in most American big cities especially NY, Chicago and LA. Some say the EU economy is now dependent on migrant labor.
Africa has over a billion people. And they can stay right where they are as far as I am concerned!
